I got Mayorga, although honestly I'm basing this strictly on my hatred for Vargas and my admiration for Mayorga. Anyone who smokes cigarettes in the ring after a match or takes a bite out of a hamburger between rounds is cool in my book

Knowing now that Tony is also picking Mayorga makes my confidence drop dramatically though, fuck (j/p)

hahaha I gotta go wit my native fighter too Mayorga. I think this one is probably gonna be a draw. They tire themselves out by the 3 round and both of them is gonna quit. Time to cop some flor de caña....

^^^looks to be in decent shape. everyone always says vargas aint got no chin and he cant take mayorgas punch, but its a lot easier to take a punch when u see it coming from a mile away. Mayorga aint gonna land no perfect counter pucnhes like sugar shane. i want mayorga to win because i have always disliked vargas and i think hes got a win due, but he's let me down in every big fight he's been in. Im gonna say mayorga by 8.

My post from an older thread.

"Vargas is naturally the bigger, stronger guy in this one and when you compare his skills to Mayorga's, he looks like a master boxer in there. I gotta give Ricardo a chance because he has the pop to put Vargas down and out, but will it happen is the question. I can see Vargas outboxing him and winning a UD or even winning by TKO. It's a tough fight to pick because Vargas' chin can fail at any time especially if Ricardo gets him to brawl, but I think Ricardo will be the one that gets caught in this one. Vargas by TKO in the 6th."

I'm going to stick with my pick that Vargas will win this one, but you never know with these two. Either way, it won't go the distance.

haha...I feel you on that, I've always been a Mayorga fan, not only because of his out of the ring antics but he's fearless in the ring even when he's getting his ass beat (ie. Trinidad,DLH). Any man that gives Tito Trinidad a few free left hooks to the face gets respect in my book...lol
