TRUST ME! pac is'nt gonna complain about what is hurting if it is'nt true he's not IGNORANT! my dad can translate for him and i understand more than less than what he is saying! THATS WHY WE ALL RESPECT HIM he's REAL! you all know where he come from.ALL THIS TALK ABOUT CROSSING BETWEEN ROUNDS Why Not? he knows the battle he has to take to be THE FIRST FILIPINO CHAMPION!

I GOT IT ON TAPE I WATCHED IT TWICE ALREADY i said it and will say it again 1,9,10 AND 12 ARE NOT THE ONLY ROUNDS HE SCORED IN!!!

HE SCORED MORE THAN ANYONE WOULD GIVE HIM CREDIT FOR!

marquez did ADUST AND COUNTER!

but if anyone is getting the benefits it's MARQUEZ JUST FOR SURVIVING! YOU COULD SCORE IT ALMOST EITHER WAY!! TOO MANY ROUNDS WERE CLOSE ENOUGH! BUT THE JUDGES ARE FOOLS!

BUT

WHO'S THE CHAMPION? WHERE ARE WE FIGHTING IN? HOW MUCH WOULD A REMATCH MAKE IN PAY PER VIEW???

HOW WOULD YOU FEEL IF PACQUAO DROPED 3 TIMES IN ONE ROUND AND MARQUEZ NOT GET THE RIGHT SCORE!

WHO DID'NT BACK PACQUAO AFTER THE FIGHT???

Ummm Luisito Espinoza was the last PI featherweight world champ.
There's been numerous amounts of Filipino world champs through out the years.
You haven't been watching boxing for that long have you?

I gave him rounds 9 and 10, the only other rounds where he seemed to get the best out of Marquez. Round 12 was dead even if you wanna give Pacquiao the benefit of the doubt.
But he didn't do enough to win it. The only other rounds that could've been even were rounds 2 and 7. Again, he just didn't do enough to win those....

115 - 110 for Pacquia isn't giving him the benefit of the doubt????
That is very generous if compared to my card if I were to give Pacquia rounds 2, 7, 9, 10.
That would only put him ahead by 3 points. How in the hell did he get 5 points ahead?
Maybe the same way the other judge scored the fight for Marquez by 5....

Be happy that the fight was a draw....
No one deserved to lose....

Marquez is the champion, and they fought in the US. Away from both their homes, if anything;
Pacquiao had more fans.

As for pay-per-view, who knows? The rematch might fall in HBO again.

I would feel justified if Marquez sat on what he did in "ONE" round and hoped to win the entire fight on that alone.
That's why championship fights go 12 rounds and not one....

Its HBO's best interest to have a rematch(pay-per-view)
Heard Pac wasn't in his best shape. He hasn't been training because of his fame. Now he has a goal for a rematch. He may have been outboxed. But I watched the fight again last night I noticed Pac was mostly on the attack. I give him the win for that. I didn't see him get faded or get chased around the ring. Also the rematch will be the ultimate fight. Both fighter knows how the other guys style now. I predict a win for Pacquaio
I give it up to both of them tho. They have Heart.

LET'S KEEP IT REAL... HOW MANY REFS WOULD EVEN ALLOW THE FIGHTER TO GIT KNOCKED DOWN 3 TIMES WITHOUT STOPPING THE FIGHT.. HOW OFTEN DOES IT HAPPEN? NINE TIMES OUT OF TEN REFS IS MORE WORRIED ABOUT THE HEALTH OF THE FIGHTER. HE GOT SO BATTERED IN ONE ROUND THAT THE REF MUST'VE BEEN A MARQUEZ FAN. HAD IT BEEN THE OTHER WAY AROUND, THE FIGHT WOULD HAVE BEEN STOPPED. PLEASE BELIEVE IT.

MIGGIDY, YOU MUST NOT HAVE BEEN WATCHIN THE FIGHT I SAW. HE CONTROLLED ABOUT 5 OR 6 ROUNDS AT THE MOST, BUT GOT WHOOPED ONE IN EVERY ROUND BUT THE TENTH... AND REALLY THEY SHOULD PROTEST THE ONE JUDGE'S CARD WHO ADMITTED HE MADE A MISTAKE BY SCORING 113-113 KNOWING HE WAS SUPPOSED TO SCORE THE FIRST ROUND 10-6. EVEN YOU SCORED IT A 10-6 ROUND DAWG... COME ON. THEY CHEATED THE YOUNG FIGHTER SO THEY CAN MAKE MORE MONEY ON THE REMATCH NO MATTER WHO WINS IT NEXT TIME. GUARANTEED THE REMATCH WILL BE A PAY PER VIEW BOUT... I THINK PAC'S TRAINERS WILL HAVE HIM WELL PREPARED FOR THE REMATCH. ESPECIALLY SINCE PAC KNOWS MARQUEZ CAN'T HURT HIM...

Check my score card,
I gave rounds 9 and 10 to Pacquiao.

Cleen,
Marquez was not seriously hurt to prompt the refferee to stop the fight.
They were all flash knockdowns, taking the oportunity away from a champ like that and not giving him the benefit of the doubt is wrong. Remember how Jay Nady stopped the fight on Zab Judah when he fought Tzsyu? That was bullshit....
Everyone saw how Marquez bounced back and regained control of the fight,
that is the reason why you let certain fighters continue. Here's a perfect example of a fight where one guy is battered but has the skills to bounce back.
So your theory of a biased reff is out the window.

Now you lost me on the part where you're saying that "he" controlled 5 or 6 rounds and got whooped in the 10th. Who are you reffering to?

Even Freddy told Pacquiao that he needed to start throwing more than one punch at a time.
All the cat had was a straight left that hardly landed outside of rounds 1, 9, and 10.
He landed the left in in rounds 7 and 12 but Marquez fired back landing more punches in those rounds. Pacquaio was landing in single digits man. You cannot win a fight like that.
Even if you have such a big first round.
At the end of the night, Marquez had a 22 power punch lead on him.
I don't know why people are whinin about this fight, even the associated press scored the fight a draw. You have to admit that it could've gone either way....

As far as the scoring goes, I already explained that in another thread.
Not all judges score a 3 knockdown round as low as 6.
Many times they'll score it as 10 - 7.
And this is due to the fact that the 3 knockdown rule used to be in effect and fights never went past 3 knockdowns per round. So judges have gotten used to scoring rounds as low as 7 points.
Now that the 3 knock down rule is in effect, many judges will score the round a 7 even if a fighter goes down 3 times. Hell you don't even have to go down to be only given 8 points. I've seen judges score rounds that low when a guy really gets battered.
Point is, scoring rounds is completely subjecitve
There is no mandatory point deduction for a knock down so that throws this other theory out the window. Just ask Mark Ratner, head of the Nevada state athletic commission,
he already said the Pacquiao has no grounds for a protest....

Now if you're gonna throw another theory in the mix about Ratner being on Arums payrole,
take this into consideration;
Bob Arum accused Ratner of basically fixing Mosley's decision win over De La Hoya....
When asked to step up and bring his allegations to the table by Ratner, Arum was quick to pull back. Even De La Hoya kept his mouth closed....

Peace,
Miggidy

Hold up..Hold up..
Jay Nady saving Judah's ass was BS?
Did u see Judah do the new Foxy Brown dance when he got up!

Now, Judah was up the first time at the count of almost 3, then he fell again..and when he got up..the count would have been at 5.5-6. Jay would have counted 1 more second, touched his gloves, and Tsyzu could have unleashed on him.

Tsyzu is THE BEST in that division...point blank.

Marquez was all flash Knockdowns, easily.
But Judah got cold rocked.

DID HIS FACE LOOK LIKE THOSE WAS FLASH KNOCK DOWNS... COME ON NOW... IT'S ONLY SO MUCH EXPLAINING YPU CAN DO FOR THE CAT... MARQUEZ FOUGHT A HARD FOUGHT FIGHT, BUT HE LOST. THAT JUDEGE CALLED A 10-7 ROUND IN ERROR, AND ADMITTED IT. IT WAS CLEARLY A 10-6 ROUND. MINUS THE THREE KNOCKDOWNS IT COULD HAVE BEEN A 10-8 ROUNDS JUST ON THE BEATING HE TOOK IN THAT ROUND ALONE. HE WAS SWALLOWING BLOOD THE WHOLE FIGHT, AND ON ZAB JUDAH, THE REF DID THE RIGHT THING OR KOSTA WOULD HAVE TOOK HIS HEAD CLEAR OFF AND YOU KNOW IT. EITHER WAYALOT OF MARQUEZ FAN GONE CALL IT HOW THEY SEE IT. ONCE AGAIN I'M A FAN OF NEITHER SO IT WAS A PLEASURE WATCHING THEM SMASH ON EACH OTHER. PAC BEAT HIM WITH ONE PUNCH WHILE MARQUEZ FOUGHT HIS WAY BACK INTO THE FIGHT WITH EVERY TRICK AND PUNCH HE KNEW TO SURVIVE WHAT WOULD HAVE BEEN AND SHOULD HAVE BEEN THE MOST DEVESTATING LOSS OF HIS LIFE. OH WELL NO MATTER WHAT ANYOF US SAY, THE NIGHT WAS CALLED A DRAW AND EVERYTHING ELSE MEANS NOTHING, NOT MY OPINION OR ANYONE'S ELSES. CAN'T WAIT TIL THEY DO IT AGAIN...

Zab Judah did do a fucked up version of the harlem shake when he got up..then fell again. I felt Pac won...some felt Marquez won. What's cool about this shit is the popularity this fight brought out. It aint about heavies, middle and welterweights.......the short skinny fools are gettin love now.
