A man who police say fired a crossbow at his neighbor was arrested. Dana Lee Cockerman, 48, was charged Sunday with intimidation with a dangerous weapon.
Cockerman was angry at his neighbor about his dog being shot a year ago, and fired the crossbow, narrowly missing the man and a 9-year-old boy, officials with the Johnson County sheriff's office said.
Cockerman had threatened to kill the man and his dog, officials said.
Cockerman was being held under $10,000 bond in the Johnson County jail. If convicted, he faces up to 10 years in prison
