The people doing this documentary are extremely radical.. Does this dude really expect people to believe that the Sphinx was built 36,000 years ago?

It's possible! Shit , the fact that they built the structures they did...says anything is possible. What he's trying to get across to you is that, the Egyptian civilization seems to have started and shown up in history at the peek of it's existence....with this vast amount of knowledge...covering so many things in great detail and accuracy. How does this happen in the course of only a few thousand years? Theory... that's all it is...he's not pushing it as fact.

How old do you believe the world is? IMO I think it's around 7000-10000 years old.

That's a young earth creationist view, which is a view that I do not hold. I don't believe evolution, but I don't believe that either. Egypt had many dynasties in which they recorded their history that goes back to 3100 B.C... Yet Egyptian culture goes as far back as 6,000 B.C with the Badari people in Sudan(Nubia) and Southern Egypt. Maybe if you'd like to extend that a few thousand years, given the inaccuracies in radiocarbon dating, I can believe that the Sphinx was built 10,000 years ago, but not 36,000.. And I refuse to believe that man created very civilized cultures and civilization with in centuries of being created.
