heres what it fixes

PSU.com said:
Fumble Fix - Reduced fumble chances in certain situations. This has been tested thoroughly and we feel that people will be happy with a more realistic (and more fun!) number of fumbles. This was priority number 1 for us.

DB Reactions- changes to the way that DBs play man coverage. Defenders in man coverage won’t be able to react to passes that they cannot see. This should make it easier to throw against man coverage.

Favre “Moonwalk”- I love the names that you guys come up with for issues such as this one. You can rest assured that you won’t see Farve (or any QB) dancing toward the sideline anymore.

Hook Zone Flip Bug- I saw a post on a community forum talking about this bug and it turns out the fix was very minimal risk. You can now flip plays with hook zones without the players leaving their zones.

Franchise - Fixed NCAA import issue where players would turn 26

Franchise - Fixed bug where HOF Unlocked players cannot be released in Franchise.

Franchise - Fixed bug where the FA pool would run out of certain positions

Online Game Reporting- fixed a number of issues where games weren’t being reported correctly or people weren’t getting the right number of ranking points for a win. This will also make stats more accurate.

EA SPORTS World- Accomplishment ‘20 consecutive completions’ not awarded when completions ends up under 100%

i do think that there were way too many fumbles. i heard people complaining about interceptions being too plentiful, but i think its more realistic cuz i wont throw any if i dont i make good decisions. and what is the problem with the stats yall are talkin about?

pffffffffffffffffft. Too little, too late. I've been done with this game for a long time now. I don't know why the fuck they didn't do this closer to the beginning of the season, it's not like they just now figured these problems out. lazy fucks

i dontk now how they released a BETA PIECE OF BULLSHIT in the first place

fuck ea, i used to like them but it is quite clear that it is their full intention to time and time again release un thoroughly tested buggy pieces of shit and make people pay 59.99 and 69.99 for that shit, then they fix it months down the line.

same shit happened when i used to play battlefield2 on the pc, it used to be like all you had to do was hop around and you were invincible, bullets would magicallly miss you and shit, they finally patched it months later

but there will be thousands of clowns in line for madden 09, ready to buy the buggy piece of shit the first day it comes out and shell out 50 60 bucks for it

lol by the way the first time i played 08 i received the kick off, fumbled it trying to run it back at the 30 yard line but recovered, then my first play was a run play and i fumbled it and lost the ball to my friend who threw an interception right back to me

A reason for them updating the game so late might be cause all their resources are tied up in making Madden 09. I know they start workin on the next game before the current game even ships...not saying it's ok for them to lag so long..but that could be the reason they can't update the game as quickly as they woud like...

They need to fix how you can never see how many timeouts you have during the game they leave you guessing. Also all-pro is easy as hell but as soon as you go to all-madden the computer is almost impossible to stop.

hmm i never noticed anything wrong with 08 , but i was never on it constantly , just playing games against my friends . it does seem pointless to release it after the season though

@ cro-mag , yea i can sometimes pull away with a close win but for the most part the computer owns on all madden. i would think it would be easy because thats the only difficulty i play on...

I find it funny that people here are just now starting to complain about the madden "more of the same" bullshit that they have been doing since at least 2004, the last year they had any competition. Honestly, can somebody please name off what has been added to Madden since 2005? The weapon system that they stole from All Pro? I can't think of anything else.

All Pro Football, a much better playing game, can be found for about $10-$20. For those of you who have to play football, this is a much better option.

The fact is people want to play as real nfl teams and players in madden, and not the legends of football or whatever that all pro football has.
