I posed this question to Khayree at the bayriders forum:

Will Khayree be producing on Mac Mall's next album?

And here was his reply :

I have given Mall 2 CDs , one with 27 instrumental tracks and one with 7 instrumental tracks , we are planning on doing 2 good albums this year. I look forward to it.

It should be a for sho thang. Khayree still keeps in touch wit ray luv and mac mall. Also since that big bang theory didn't go for khayree I don't see why he don't bring back that YBB flavor for 2004.

Khayree posted on bayridaz sayin there was a dispute with one of the parents of big bang theory. Something over the album and decided to handle it themselves. I hear that big bang theory is coming out wit a album or mixtape if I'm not mistaken. But do yall think big bang theory is gonna get love w/o khayree production?

No more Big Bang Theory on YBB

I am sad to write that after spending over a year and $20,000 that YBB will not be doing any music or business with BBT ' Big Bang Theory. Why? Several reasons #1 is that one of the parents of one of the members was constantly doing things to try and halt our progress he wants to be the man in charge but as BB King said ' I paid the cost to be the boss" #2 Is BBTs management whom I’ve always respected and admired began to cave in to the pressure of this parent. I call this parent Joe Jackson except he doesn’t know anything about the music business. #3 after I spent thousands on recording, mixing, photo sessions, a new website, and paying other producers he comes to me and says' How about we just do 1 album together and see how it works? What? Are you nutts? Who was knocking down ya door before I came? He assured me that I would get production on any future album. Hummmm? I went from being the label to a producer for hire on future albums. No thanks. One album so I can blow you up and then they can go make 50 million and I might get a few songs on future albums. Now mind you, I have much love for Darren, Gary & Jason, but they are all 17 except Squint who turns 18 this month, but unfortunately they were not mature enough to tell the parent who also paid for BBTs lawyer what they wanted to do. The management, the artist and myself always were on ONE accord until this parent, got involved. So after months of trying to meets their needs and compromise I realized that it was this parent that was the real problem and that the guys were reluctant to speak their real feeling to this Father. I understand that Alex of 4Deep had the same problem with this same parent when he was in BBT, so he quit. Also their manager was concerned about promotion & distribution because as you all know Bayside which was my distributor went out of business. So, in his mind I didn’t have the ability to make it happen in the same way. Wrong again. I told the group that we needed to do about 4 or 5 new songs on the album because some of the lyrics of 2 of the members were a little corny. I explained that, if you make an album that appeals in the streets that word of mouth is the best promotions you can get. Of course I have new distribution for 2004 through City Hall records which is a much stronger distributor than Bayside, but I don’t care who distributes you it can be Sony, if you’re music & lyrics are not outstanding its not going make it, not independently. Their management, who knows as much about hip hop, as I know about fixing an airplane engine didn’t understand this. So he didn’t want to do a few new songs, also the cover was not reflecting the new songs we had recently recorded, so much time had passed that I wanted something that reflected who they are now not at 16 years old when many of the songs were recorded. Truthfully I should of known better than to trust the word of these parents who were always thanking me ' for working with the boys, they love you so much Khayree' Yeah, we were all like family, I should of had an agreement signed 1st. I have taken most of the songs that myself, Femi and a young cat named JTrax did and given the instrumentals to Mac Mall for a new CD we are doing in early 2004. I write this because people ask me what’s up with BBTs album. Maybe when they can think and speak for themselves we will work together, I have a lot of love & respect for the 3 members of BBT. It is unfortunate but in this business anything can happen money comes money goes, but the music goes on.

from bayridaz again -

Our book is in the 2nd Draft. As far as film work I’m releasing the YBB video collection on DVD in early 2004, 11 videos with behind the scene footage, a few cool short bonus features, and what I call real life clip, entertaining & some funny as hell never before seen stuff. After this I will begin work on ' who is Khayree? The Young Black Brotha story documentary. As far as my personal Doc ' As a man as a father' I just entered the trailer a 5-minute piece into The Pan African film festival in LA, which is in February 2004. A lot more is happening but I don’t want to talk too much, Id rather keep working.

Dont worry I will never quit, I love making music too much to quit. I admit there was a time when I didnt want to push on, BUT I will never lose, and to quit is to give up on myself. Never that!
