Thats exactly how Cougnuts funeral was. Absolutely disgusting. I was wishing that someone close to them would die and have people come to thier funeral and act fuckin stupid in front of mothers, fathers, aunts, grandmothers, etc. Im sure some intentions are good but most of these people should be in a casket instead of good people like Dre and Nut.

Well, I was in the church waiting in line for about 30 minutes before I got up to the casket to pay my respects and saw a camera flash at least 10 times and several video cameras too. So, I’d say Dre’s family was too busy grieving the loss of their son, grandson, father, brother, cousin, nephew, cuddy etc… to worry about confronting every drunk, high, thizzed out person with a camera, not to mention the sober ones that should already know better.

I only saw a few police out on the street directing traffic, none inside or directly outside the church during the time I was there.

Well WHY didn't anybody try and put a stop to the bullshit that went down? It sounds like yall just let it happen and want to come on the board after and talk about it. One of the siccness people could have had some words with the people they saw acting disrespectful. Did anyone even try and stop it?

Have you ever heard the phrase 'choose your battles wisely?' There is a time and a place for everything, and this was neither the time or the place. Wouldn't that have given the media a bunch more fuel, riot erupts at veiwing.....Think about it.

That question I can’t answer for you. Who knows maybe they tried to do something at first. The viewing was from noon to 5pm. I was there for about an hour total towards the end. Maybe they wanted to avoid starting fights with people that were drunk and emotional or didn’t want to further upset the family (if that was possible). I think there was just too many people doing it to try to control. I’m just stating my opinion on what I saw during the time I was there.

Give me a fuckin break, I'm not saying start getting loud disrespectful and telling people to stop fucking wildin out. If anyone went up to the people that were casuing the most shit Calmly with a sense of maturity and said out of respect of the familiy can you please chill, i'm sure they would relised it was not the time or place to be gettin wild. That was a lame excuse 6footah.Bullshit.
Even a female like yourself could have made a big difference.
But nah, like some cowards you stood and watch it all go down. Seriously no one wants to be a leader anymore.

Thats understandable, but to the folks that were closests to dre I mean someone could have said something to a couple of groups of people. From the replys it looks like there was no attempt to do so at all. But who knows, maybe dre himself would have wanted it to go down like that. But for real i hate seeing people complain after the fact when they didn't even try and let people know that it was disrespectful to wild out.

I just looked at the picture from the Chronicle.

I'm sorry, but I don't see that particular picture as disgusting. That is art, this is history, and that photograph is telling a story that words can't - and framing a moment in time that years from now will be remembered.

As for that other video cam crap & cell phone cam crap, that is just wrong, tacky, classless, disgusting, etc etc

There is a difference between photos that are art & capturing a moment in time or history, as compared to snapshots to be bragged about. That makes me sick to hear how people acted inside the church.

"Rapper" is just a label. At the end of it all, when all the labels & material accumulations of life are gone - he is a man. He is someone's son, brother, father, uncle, etc...humbly returning to that which created him. May God bless his soul.

RIP "Mac Dre"

^^exactly. I notice the older crowd here understands tact maybe because we have dealt with death on a larger scale and understand that the entertainment ends when one of our own passes on. Trust me folks, the LAST fuckin thing you want to see when a loved one passes is people "networking", shooting footage for fuckin dvds, etc. Since some of you fucks dont think - picture your closest loved one passing away, especially over some BULLSHIT. Then picture you at their funeral watching people that dont even fuckin know them posing for pics next to their fuckin casket or filming video of it like its a fuckin entertaining event. Grow the fuck up.

This thread makes me sick to my stomach. How can cats call themselves a "fan" and be THAT disrespectful, especially in front of this mans family? Words can't express how disgusting that is.
