Random thoughts I have... and what the fucks? below
So "live Locke" was home dude Jacob was talking to at the start of the episode right? I wonder what that's going to be all about. Jacob touched or gave everyone in the flashbacks something except for Juliet who we didn't even see him in her flashback, which is weird.
I don't think Sayid is dead.
What the fuck was Richard Alpert's real name? Like Ricarsio or something like that? All this shit ties into ancient mythology I know that.
I personally don't think them detonating the hydrogen bomb is going to "restart" everything. I think it will bring Jack and them back to 2007 or some shit like that.
I wish I was a big enough fan to want to read the books they show throughout the show (like the one Jacob is reading when Locke falls out the window) because they are all older books that have stuff to do with time travel, mythology, etc. I'm just not that into the show or have the time.
Also a lot of shit that happened in this season tie into other seasons. Like the map Sawyer drew to show where the "others" camps were in correlation to the Dharma stations is the same drawing on the back of the metal hatch door that crushes Locke's leg. I'm about to start buying the seasons and watching them to see other shit that ties in.

it caught me off guard that the bomb actually went off or well maybe it didnt.
but it did make sense of what miles said that if they set off the bomb that maybe that is the incident that happens to cause them to build the hatch. I honestly dont think that they change the past bc thats the my opinion. Because in the season before this i think when Michael tried to kill himself destiny wouldnt let him for examples he tried to shoot himself, the gun didnt go off and he drove his car into a wall.
Plus Richard says that he watched all of them die when Sun asked him

Back in the earlier episodes of Lost when they show Dr. Chang in the videos for the Swan (the place that was being built that they tried to blow it up) he has a prostetic arm. If you remember he got his arm fucked up by the falling metal at the end of this episode.
