Los Angeles Lakers??

Surprised no1 is really talking bout em. I know its early in the season but they look real strong. Bynum has developed into a top 10 center in the league(my opinion). 21-11 overall n they've won 13 out of there last 15... If they keep this up there's no doubt Kobe is MVP

yea lakers been a surprising team this year, Andrew Bynum is really comming along, dude got hella better this offseason...hes gonna be super dominant in the paint in a year or two...Lakers are a tough matchup for the Warrior especially in LA...alot of teams comming up in the Western Conference this year, its gonna be tough gettin those last couple of playoff spots...

maybe he's top 10 but that aint sayin much. he's average and will get better with age so he has a good future ahead of him. Lamar Odem is a lil bitch plain and simple, and kobe is the shit but he wont win MVP this year, my boy Garnett has as of right now and i really dont see that changing. it was gonna be dwight howard but he got noticed he's a lil soft and is more focused on stats then winning so he got dropped down.

^^ your full of jokes huh buddy

@KAZZAM- I dont get how garnett is the most valuable player.. I see 3 players there that are over achievers, if you take garnett out the pic I still believe there in the top 3 in the east. Now let's talk about la, take Kobe and you have the one of the worst teams in the west! Kobe's shots are down and his assist, rebounds are up. This year he's looking to get his team involved... Which in my eyes equals the Most Valuable Player

clearly Yao Ming u havent been watchin the celts play. Ray Allen is just doing average and pierce is doing his shit but if garnett wasnt there then this wouldne be happening at all. his numbers are high up ACROSS the board. and its dumb for u to say kobe is doing this all alone then say how good Bynum is. and if u think Garnett isnt getting his team involved then thats just ridiculous. and garnett defense is just stellar this year, by the rate he's goin he will be runner up for defense of the year. oh and even the "experts" say he is MVP so yeah they might know a thing or two lol

Lakers are doing slightly better than expected and getting way too much credit for it, but what do you expect? They play in LA. Bynum is going to be good. Nice surprise for LA.

The Lakers are playing a lot better than most people expected. They're overachieving (so far) this year, which is a pleasant surprise. Kobe is having an MVP-type year, which is normal, but his TEAM isn't going to help him win this award (record-wise) at the end of the season.

All three players are averaging almost 20 points a game....The fact of the matter is Kobe doesn't have that good of a supporting cast, as Garnett does. If you noticed, a lot of the scoring chances are created by Kobe, because when he drives he obviously draws the double team and then just passes the ball to Bynum. Bynum has improved, but he's still not at the form where he can create for himself, what he has improved on is finishing his baskets. I remember last year when I watched the Lakers, Bynum wasn't finishing any of the baskets that Kobe created for him. If Kobe keeps this going through the year he should be the MVP.

Lakers fans of 25+ years here. I was actually alive and watching when Magic came in the league and won the title in '79-'80.

Lots of Laker haters on this site. I will help keep this thread going - even though the title is in kiddie cyberfont

Hahaha you got to be fucking kidding. Aldrigde has a shot but he doesnt have the offensive and defensive presence in the paint like bynum.

Bynum gets it done and hes still only like what 20?

lol are you kidding me. lamarcus is only 22, he can get in the paint sometimes, and is an above average blocker, avg over 1 a game, the fact that his interior game will come with NBA workout program(he just needs to add weight) is a plus over bynum who probably can't consistently hit the 18 footer, Lamarcus' outside game is light years ahead of bynum, and only a few short miles away from gettin to and passing Bynum's inside game... Aldridge will be better, people just on his dick cause he plays in LA

I cant understand why you think hes "average" maybe because he didnt do so well against your team the last time we played? Lol... didnt you just call me a hater for callin someone a bitch. You dont even back none of your shit up you just make assumptions of muhfuckas and we supposed to believe you. Boston hasnt even played that many quality teams from the western conference so just wait.

Bynum=Beast in the paint. Did yall see that dunk against philly?
