I hate to burst anyones bubble but 16-18 minutes of footage is not really very much to make a video with. videos usually have 1-2 hours of footage or more that is cut down to 4 minutes.
It's enough footage....yes it is trust me. I have done a short film with 12 minutes of footage and got the final film to be 5 minutes long. It is possible, all you need is a well planned pre production and anything is possible.

I didn't say it was impossible it's just very unorthodox, and may not fit some peoples concept of what they want in a video. It limits your options, but like someone said it's free so it doesn't really matter what your getting.
