I am a 40 fan. Having said that, and having watched his career and Sick Wid It from the very beginning, there is "truth" to Little Bruce's stance. Also, I FIRMLY believe that Turf Talk would be on a much larger scale if he wasn't affiliated with E40. To me, 40 wants to be the "Head HOncho" and he puts the brakes on artists that have the potential to outshine him.
first off i'm a huge turf talk fan, but i disagree.
1. cause with out 40 he wouldnt have the money to put those great beats to his lyrics.
2. i dont live in cali, i havent played either of his cd and got one person to like him. nobody outside of cali really likes him . except dudes that like bay music.
3. i think turf is in the top 5 as a rapper personly but i can see how the masses wouldnt enjoy him.
4. how he holdiin him back ? he put presented by e-40 on first cd and 40 was on a bunch of a couple tracks in my mind that would boost sales

This makes no sense at all. The first time I even heard of Turk talk was on E-40's CD. And to my knowledge Turk Talk's first single featured E-40 "The Slumper".... E-40 probably could have kept that beat and done the song by his self. Basically E-40 brought out and introduced Turf Talk to the rap game. Now Turf Talk is on MTV with videos. You mean to tell me that without E-40 Turf would be doing better? Please.... as tight as Mac Dre was I never seen one of his videos on MTV.
