There is a difference between racial comedy and racism. I think a lot of people are too sensitive (and I can understand why) but I don't think its fair to throw around "racist" too easily. Would you call Dave Chappelle racist because he does racial comedy? Does he HATE white people? I don't think so...

This is like saying "non-white people can't be racist". How do you people know what goes on inside the minds of others? If somebody says, "I don't have a racists bone in my body", who are you to tell 'em they're wrong? I just wanna know why people on this board thinks EVERYBODY has racism somewhere inside 'em? If somebody is an idiot and I don't like 'em, it's for that exact reason, that person is an idiot. When somebody says something derogatory about somebody else and it involves race, it takes everything in me not to break their facial structure.

Yea, everything is a racial issue these days. Racism is still alive, don't get me wrong, and that is very unfortunate, but some people just use the word WAY too often. If they don't like the outcome of something, it's racism. If so and so doesn't get the job, it's racism...if so and so gets fired or laid off, it's racism.

That right there is REAL AS FUCK!! White folks are always gettin' clowned, it's funny then right? Don't get me wrong, I laugh my ass off @ white jokes, and I make fun of the anal whites, along with the hickish folks, cause it's funny. These so called "real white people" used to look down on my people (The Italians), who are ALSO white. So, I make fun of them every chance I get, even though we are "the same" according to skin tone. But yea, the same cats that are made fun of, don't stand up and say anything!! The issue is both blacks and whites say stereotypical racist shit about each-other in "good humor", but in the end the indifference in power, wealth and social statis skews the whole thing. David Chapelle can and will say stereotypical things about whites, but most of the time they are atributes such as being on time and orderly, speaking proper, ect...the white charactors are always employed, clean and well dressed as apose to Tyrone Biggums...a crackhead, Niggas in giant dice games, std infested puppets...you get the point...even within stereotyping the view is whites in controle or responsible and blacks downtotten, lazy and on drugs or some shit. Another point is that racism has (and still is) used to by elite whites to opress African Americans in the innercity...though both have said racist shit one group (whites) has the power to empliment it beyound the realm of entertainment- they can take that shit to real life i.e. job exclusion, poor education, poor health care, ect...there is alot more shit that I can say to support what I am saying, but I think (hope) you get my point.

I kinda wish Chappelle show wasn't as popular as it is now. I'm in college and every white/rich frat boy watches that shit and I see it everyday how that show's stereotypes have affected their projected attitudes towards minorities. It's becoming a modern day mistrel show, with these skits clowning Rick James and Lil John etc. I know D. Chapelle doesn't want or intend for this to happen, but it is. He has been taking more of an anti-white, for lack of a better word, stance on things in his most recent shows. With the skit about him being a juror and the one where he shoots the slave master, so I think he is realizing what is happening with his show.

It's better shit to be worried about than the wild 94.9 morning show. We all know them muthafuckas is dumb as shit. Just to hear thier voices makes me wanna shut they face. But what about the shit that matters like jobs for the black youth n shit. Jobs for the black young adults and adults. That's where the real racism is.
