rap is such a circus lol, these million dollar rappers are like girl scouts fighting over cookie crumbs,

but wayne is right in some ways, i dont agree with this 'hip hop is dead' bullshit that nas and jay proclaiming, hip hop is alive and well and continuing to change and develop like it always has. The world is changing all around us, the way music is produced formatted and distributed is changing, you cannot expect shit to stand still.

If you say Hip Hop was a person, born in the late 70's, then its in its late 20's early 30's right now, thats the prime of life, no longer an nexperienced kid, got clear goals defined and looking into the future as a man.

Bored millionaire rappers with egos the size of a country need to stfu and steady bang out sum classic material to show everybody under them how its done.

I disagree, I do believe, in essence hip hop is dead, and if its not dead its on life support, at least in the mainstream. Albums like the Sound of Revenge and Food and Liquor are shots of adrenaline, but nothing to cure it, I thought Everready would be the album to put it over the top, but its not popular enough, but Nas and Jay Z just pronouncing it dead and turning their backs on the game is not helping. I do believe the best stuff is in the underground and indie scenes, and unfortunately, that'll probably be how it is for a long, long time.

Lil Wayne was on Jay Zs nuts hella hard not too long and I heard he was about to sign to the ROC but only turned it down when Baby made him the prez of cash money. Thats what i heard at least

Lil Wayne is hella tight though, hes my favorite mainstream rapper even if i think its super wierd that him and Baby have STRONG platonic love for echother LOLZ
