It's unfortunate your professor didn't bring it to life.
There are a lot of points for the knowledge, such as anytime you wish to establish the causal effect of one variable upon another. Economists use it to find the effect of changes in the money supply upon the inflation rate. It's also used in the process to find cures when testing new medicines.

Its really just comes down to the difference between going to college for the piece of paper they give you at the end, or going to college to educate yourself.

Most people only go to college for the degree and that is why some dumb fuck will always ask "do we need to know this for the test" lol

my teachers will lecture til the very last second and still weight a 25 point/(~150pts.) question based on the last few sentences of lecture. this case has happened all too many times.

but anyways. just had a midterm. time to blow.
