They are watching us, watching them, watching you.

damn i watch too much TV.... Bring back UHF!!!!! What ever happed to TV Antenna's with foil hanging off it. and you gotta lay next to the TV and prop one leg up on it so it will be clear. So you can watch Charles In Charge and Who's The Boss?

Remember that a widescreen tv will look smaller because it won't be as tall since they are measured diagonaly. So if you want something that is going to be similar in size to a 27" TV you should get a 32" Widescreen TV.

From everything I have read the Vizio TV's aren't bad for a cheap brand but the blacks won't be as dark as a nicer TV and they don't look as nice. The 32" Vizio can be found for around 450 online thats what im looking at since I will probably want a biger TV in a few years anyways.

Im tellin you man, you will be replacing your vizio pretty quick. Just be sure to get a good warranty with it. Also check on that return policy. Also best buy will match or beat any price if you show proof of model. They have a good warranty plan. Also they got the credit card with like 2 years no interest...

Costco has a 90 day return policy with no questions asked so if you don't like the TV you can just take it back.

The DLP tv's have a great picture but the lamps burn out really fast so you will have to pay like $200 for a lamp after 1,000 hours.

Olevia actually makes a really good LCD TV....especially for the price. Can't beat it.
Compared to what...Westinghouse? Olevia's are on the lower scale of quality when it comes to LCD's.

All TV's are measured diagnally, widescreen or standard.

That was the point if it is wide screen and you buy a 27" TV you better not be expecting it to look as big as the 27" 4:3 screen. For a TV the same height as a 27" TV you would need to get a 32" widescreen. Im just warning that you will be disappointed when you come home with a 27" LCD TV and realize it looks a lot smaller than your current TV.
