so i finally decided to say FUCK FRESNO and im hoppin on a plane to vegas at the end of the month

i got no job lined up and hardly any money but i got a couch to sleep on for a while while i get my shit together

i figure i might as well do somethin crazy when im young and cans till bounce back from it

anyone else ever do some crazy shit like this when they were young ? howd it work out for you?

Cool ass place to live, I grew up there, mad different kinds of jobs that are easy to get. Just don't let that night life suck you in too bad, ain't nothin like a bender in Vegas, cause them shits can last for weeks....

im more the kick back at the crib and chill with close friends

so im not too worried about gettin sucked into the party scene there

I had a buddy who did the same shit...got caught with a bunch a coke weed n Epills with a gun.

After he got out he couldnt get a job no wherez so he went 2 Vegas...he now manages the Cigar shop in the Luxor...so ya even if you got serious felonies you can still get a job in Vegas.

Careful tho Laws are strict as fuck with drugs.

I did the same move when I left Seattle for San Francisco.. one of the best moves I have ever done.. and I'm one to be cautious and have a plan.

I suggest a few things my friend:

-sign up at all temp agencies, including labor ready. Get paid that day/or weekly.
-Obviously have your resume and cover letter ready. put them out there and online.
-from what I've seen, many people hold 2 jobs at a time. Most do valet parking then jobs in the casino.

you know what i heard we can transfer to hooters out in vegas after we worked a while..im hoping to work here in bakersfield for a yr...get my shit together and then move to vegas to work out there...maybe after a couple of yrs land a job in the casino..some real shit and continue my life....im a graduate from a culinary school working at hooters at first im like fuck this...but then im blessed to have a job....right now who gives a fuck the way the economy...i know some day i will be back on top again...good luck to you manyne
