True.. For me cracker is a same kind of insult as someone would call me a faggot or some other shit.. There's no deeper background in the word, I don't trip about it. Not meaning I wouldn't stomp the fucker fronting, but I mean that cracker word doesn't hurt or feel to me any more than some other insult word..
But when u use words which have background and were used to systematically degrade a whole nation or group of people for decades, it's a different thing.. Apparently some people don't undestand it.

freaks, it doesnt make sense for one word to be "worse" than another, a word is as offensive as someone lets it be. callin shea a "craccer" can be JUST as offensive as someone callin me a "nigger".

Why the fuck is this turning into a Seinfeld discussion? Becase ONE cast memeber, who played the ROLE of a character made ignorant comments? The guy had nothing to do with the production of the show or the viewpoints expressed by the show.
And he's an ACTOR. I know that may be a difficult concept for some of you to grasp since most of you do so much acting on this board as it is, but that means that he played the role of someone who is fictional. And he did it brilliantly.
