agent, I think you're missing the point that alot of the "crackers" have been saying. foos are saying that calling someone a racist term is wrong. doesn't matter what racial slur it is. its still wrong.
no, i perfectly understand what they r saying....

they only came with "cracka" AFTER "Nigger" was vehimently(lol, sp???) used...

kramers shit wasn't a slip up....and then what kramer said after...that was bad..

i have no sympathy for white people getting sensitive over "cracka", and then trying to compare it to "nigger"...kramer deserved to get violated in anyway possible...

ALSO, a key point in my opinion is that the term "cracka" usually only gets thrown around racist white people..i think "cracka" has its specific people..

@its freaks....my mom is white....so im half european descent....i dont have a bias in my statements...i speak the truth...glad u agree...

my point is argueing what slur is worse doesn't really make sense if both are racial slurs. kramer had no right to say it. the people in the audience had no right to respond that way either. who's worse? who's at fault? we all know the answer to that, but that still doesn't let them off the hook. if someone says a racist remark and you hit them for it, you're still in the wrong.....although many would still consider it justice.

Man fucking black people piss me off when this subject gets brought up; fucking stupid white people piss me off too. All of the blood in this melting pot is going to be mixed up in a couple hundred years anyway. Fucking crying over history THAT CANT BE CHANGED. History's already done and passed, and the whole fucking point of recording history with all of these fucking museums and shit like black history month is so we can learn from all of the mistakes in the past and grow from it AND NOT KEEP DOING IT. Duh stupid asses its basically up to the next couple of generations to end racism, but when everybody wants to hold on to the context of a word that was used to degrade someone 50 years ago and say that it has more weight than one thats JUST AS OLD and say that its ok to use one but not the other, or this group of people doesnt have a right to be offended because this one had it worse so they have the right to say whatever they want as payback, fuck off and die you pathetic wastes of life.

This is just one more reason why the human race isnt going to last. We still cant even look past the color of ones skin. but whatever its ok keep saying cracker and keep saying nigger you dumb fucks, sixxness has the right idea, the whole point is that we're calling each other names to degrade ourselves and that isnt right no matter how the words said or whichever word hurts whoever the most

as for the actual video: i cant judge dude for what he said because i dont know what the guys in the audience were saying. the whole picture isnt shown and the whole story isnt shown, and id be dubious of that type of source of information no matter what, and you should be too.

They could have said something ten times worse or thrown shit at him or who knows. for the dude that said "like white people have something to be sensitive about" man you ignorant fucking people know just how to hit the right nerve and bring out all of that bottled up angst from dealing with reverse racism, and then you try to flip it around and play the victim for some shit you werent even alive yet to experience. thats what i really think happened in this video. fucking dude saw right through their shit and brought it to their same level, exactly what they baited him into doing and now hes going to pay for it. he was dealing with someone like you and now hes done with. shit i might be done with too after this post. and then again this is just a general assumption that comes from dealing with exactly these type of reverse racism situations my whole life... i cant really say exactly whats going on cause the videos not all there. Feel me?

I heard that. Its amazing to me, that we have aircrafts that can move faster than the speed of sound, and missles that can could destroy a house from thousands of miles away, and re-attach peoples limbs, and all of the amazing things that humans do...

Yet, we still judge people by the color of their skin, as if anyone had a choice of which race they wanted to be anyways.

are some of you non-black people suggesting that us black people forget history?

how do you 'get over' history? the racist mindstate systematically shaped the world we live in today. its not about what happened back then, its the effects of what happened...all of that more than likely played a part in deciding which neighboorhoods to put crack in...which neighboorhoods to build houses on in toxic waste...whom to hire and whom not to hire..who can vote who cant...its an active fight

saying forget about it.....is fucked up....

thats like if it was 2003 and i was in new orleans, youre tellin me..oh forget about the hurricanes that damn near wiped your city out 30 years ago..whats happened happened...sure its part of our history but just forget about it...

then later on down the line katrina happens..

i aint forgettin shit, just incase 'history repeats itself' is a true saying.
and as long as i see racism against blacks im gonna feel that way.

i care about peole bieng racist to other races too, but its not the same personal issue.

Reverse racism???? ha ha ha... What the fuck is that? How many 'crackas'
get pulled over by Black or Brown cops and receive the royal Rodney King treatment?... How many 'crackas' had to ride the back of the bus to get to work?... How many borders have been built around the United States to keep those damn 'crackas' out? Some of ya'll need to hit the history books... 'crackas' have never had it rough in this country... 'nigger vs. cracka' no fucking comparison... 'crackas' wrote the racism handbook and want to get touchy when someone of color calls them a 'whiteboy'... GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE... Michael Richards is a tool and now everyone knows it...

'Kramer' actor apologizes for racist rant
Updated Mon. Nov. 20 2006 9:36 PM ET

CTV.ca News Staff

Michael Richards, the actor best known as Kramer from "Seinfeld," apologized on Monday for a racially charged tirade at a Los Angeles comedy club.

"For me to be at a comedy club and flip out and say this crap, I'm deeply, deeply sorry," he said during a taping of David Letterman's "Late Show."

"I'm not a racist. That's what's so insane about this."

The 57-year-old actor appeared via satellite during an interview with comedian Jerry Seinfeld.

Richards lost his cool after repeated heckling from two black audience members during a stand-up routine at West Hollywood's Laugh Factory. A video of his rant was later posted on the showbiz website TMZ.com.

Michael Rechtshaffen, of The Hollywood Reporter, said the video may take away from Richards' efforts to apologize.

"We'll see what happens. Because in this day and age of YouTube and video phones, everyone is now accountable for their actions," Rechtshaffen told CTV Newsnet.

"If this was just something that happened in the comedy club, it might have swept under the rug, but now everybody knows about it."

Harvey Levin, who runs TMZ.com, said the heckling was not severe and should not have prompted such a fierce tirade from the comedian.

"It was simply a heckler who said, 'You know what? My friends don't think you're that funny.' That's all he said," said Levin.

"(The heckling) wasn't really horrible or over the line, and it just sent (Richards) off in to this incredible, racist tirade," Levin added.

Richards, best known for his eccentric role as Kramer on the hit sitcom "Seinfeld," was performing at the Laugh Factory in West Hollywood Friday night when he started spewing the racial slurs.

After the initial heckling, Richards retorted: "Shut up! Fifty years ago we'd have you upside down with a f------ fork up your a--."

But Richards' outburst didn't end there.

He then began pacing up and down the stage, yelling at the men for interrupting his routine in an expletive-laden tirade.

"You can talk, you can talk, you're brave now mother------. Throw his a-- out. He's a n-----!" Richards shouts before repeating the slur over and over again.

He also demanded one of the patrons be removed from the comedy club.

"He's a hugely popular guy as the character Kramer, but there was a clear dark side that emerged here at the Laugh Factory," said Levin.

Before his interview on the "Late Show," Seinfeld had said Richards was likely very upset over the incident.

"I'm sure Michael is also sick over this horrible, horrible mistake. It is so extremely offensive. I feel terrible for all the people who have been hurt," he said in a statement Monday.

While there is some audible chuckling in the audience throughout the outburst, someone can be heard gasping "Oh my God" while others are heard to say "Ooh" after Richard uses the n-word.

One of the men who was the object of the outburst shouted back that "That's un-f***ing called for, ain't necessary."

Richards eventually cut his act short and walked off the stage without any explanation.

The tape also shows audience members beginning to leave the comedy hall.

Richards performed the next night at the same comedy club without incident. The club's representatives said they wanted to give Richards a chance to express his regret over the incident, although he apparently never addressed the issue.

Fellow comedian Paul Rodriguez, who was also on the bill Friday night, said Richards had some explaining to do.

"Once the word n----- comes out of your mouth, and you don't happen to be African-American then you have a whole lot of explaining," he told CNN.

While comedians often cross the lines of good taste within their acts, Rodriguez said Richards' remarks far surpassed the boundaries of what is acceptable.

"Freedom of speech has limitations and I think Michael Richards found those limitations," Rodriguez told the network.

You can never forget history or it will repeat itself, but you should not judge todays people on the past.
As a German I was taught from birth about all the horrible things that were done in the name of Germany, even though me nor my family had anything to do with that and also suffered. But thatz just how it is. You gotta make up for what happened in your history.
Thatz why I can also understand Freaks very well, that he defends the black people as a white man, cause there is still a piece of guilt in the minds of a lot of todays people for what happened in the past.
And of course "cracka" is no comparison to "Nigger", but if I as a German would call somebody a "Jew" would make it even worse...
I also understand Sheah, who won't allow anybody talkin down on him, I also wouldn't. If somebody called me cracka or asshole I wouldn't care though...

"Richards deserved the chance to apologize, Seinfeld said on the "Late Show." Seinfeld said, "He's someone that I love, and I know how shattered he is about" the incident.

"At one point, however, Richards grew flustered and expressed second thoughts about appearing on the "Late Show" when his use of the term "Afro-American" proved funny to some audience members." ...lmao
