I'm a Lion fan, and I'll tell you its way too early in the season to be talking about how good they are or aren't.
Two weeks ago, they were just destroyed by the Eagles. There offense is killer, but the defense is non-existant. Kitna is getting sacked around 7 times a game, or so. He won't hold up, and I don't think JT O'Sullivan will be able to fill his shoes and make the playoffs.
Plus, this isn't the first time that the Lions have started off pretty good.
In 2004, they faced a similar schedule, and started off 3-1.
Week 1: W - 20-16 @ Chicago
Week 2: W - 28-16 vs. Houston
Week 3: L - 30-13 vs. Philly
Week 4: Bye
Week 5: W - 17-10 @ Atlanta
Rest of the season:
Week 6: L - 38-10 vs Green Bay Packers
Week 7: W - 28-13 @ New York Giants
Week 8: L - 31-21 @ Dallas Cowboys
Week 9: L - 17-10 vs Washington Redskins
Week 10: L - 23-17 @ Jacksonville Jaguars (OT)

Week 15: L - 28-27 vs Minnesota Vikings
Week 16: W - 19-13 vs Chicago Bears
Week 17: L - 24-19 @ Tennessee Titans
Rest of the season, 3-9.
