I hope the Mavericks, if anything, learned that individual talent comes a distant second to chemistry. They waisted so much money puting together an all-star team, yet somehow forgot to coach them. The Lakers are an example of chemistry, winning 67 games with just Kobe, Shaq, and some decent bench players.
