He brought the bay back!!! and Nobody besides 40 and Short have done more since him to keep it goin!!!
Nobody has made any CLASSIC albums besides 40 since he's passed.

E40 or Too Short are the most recognized rappers from the bay outside the bay.

I wouldnt call nobdy king without a proper throne and coranation though. you can say the most popular or successful rapper from the bay that sounds better then king. no disrespect but i couldnt imagine 40 watta in a cape and crown that negro would look like king hippo or that old school wwf wrestler king mabel in that shit jk.

if we talking king of the bay as in this "rap shit " i been listening to bay area rap since the begining the king of the bay is the ones that have passed away ,alive or not the music they left behind if it was shit mr cee did in 96 or when hitman did shit in 2000 or mac dre ect there music will never be touched i dont care who it is no one will ever out rap the guys who did it right so to me its ..and this from someone who lived they hole life here since 1980

i dont think any "rapper" in the bay would even want the term king in there shit its not the bays style imo. philthy rich is doin his thing though, he drops dummy ass albums/mixtapes and is the "king" of visuals with all his videos
