Kanye West has recently been "Punk'd" for an upcoming episode of MTV's highly popular prank show.
This time, the "Punk'd" squad play city officials who crash the set of Kanye's latest video. The practical joke heats up when officials shut down Kanye-zee's production because he allegedly doesn't have a city permit. Things then get a little rough when the team tries to seize some of Kanye's material.
Ever since comedian Chris Rock commented on last year's VMA's that the show never "Punk'd" rappers, host Ashton Kutcher has been on a rampage -- playing pranks on numerous Hip-Hop stars like Missy Elliott, Outkast, Bow Wow and most recently Eve. Earlier this year, a prank went awry when a fight broke out between members of Black Eyed Peas and "Punk'd" crewmembers.
In related Kanye news, the Louis Vutton Don has recently finished a video for "Jesus Walks" and is now working on "Jesus Walks Part 2." There's no word whether the sequel is for a remix of the cut or a second version shot for the popular song. Both versions will be included in a DVD Kanye plans to release later this year.
Furthermore, Kanye has added another cover to his archives. After his close up for The Source magazine's May issue, Kanye is now gracing the cover of Complex magazine alongside Talib Kweli and The Beastie Boys. Complex magazine's June/July issue is on newsstands now.
