ok. well WNBA is only shots and layups. men basketball has more intensity and better jumpers. i can understand women that wanna play ball watching the WNBA but thats about it. why watch something thats worse then something else?

To me it would be interesting to watch if Candace Parker was dominating the rest of the league as if she was a male player playing in a women's league. Sort of like when Jordan first came in the NBA. Cats didn't know what to do with him because he could do things physically that they hadn't seen yet.

The women's game will evolve sooner or later, I'm just wondering if Candace Parker is that player that we'll be looking back on as the one that sparked some crazy women's basketball evolution.

I mean, it's got to come from somewhere, right? NBA cats wasn't really doin the hesitation dribble into the pull up jumper until they saw T-Mac killin cats with it and the behind the leg step back dribble would not be in as many repetoirs as it is if it wasn't for AI & Wade droppin cats with it.

sometimes I watch some highlights on youtube, but when you see a girl EXPLODE to the rim for a.... lap up? Its sort of disappointing.

I do be watching that shit though.

Just cuz one is a lot better then the other it shouldn't keep u from both. I watch both. Just like I watch men & women collage hoops. @ the end of the dy its still baketball.

When you watch a lot of basketball ... and believe me, I watch A LOT of basketball (even in the off season), you start to appreciate some things that you didn't when you were more a casual fan.

To me, right now, a dime that checkmates the possession (thrown by male or female) is just as exciting as Gilbert Arenas pulling up and splashing from 35 feet or Monta Ellis taking off from the dotted line and gliding in for a hand switching layup, or Lebron doing this:



And gettin crossed up is always entertaining. Male, female, cat or dog, lol
