Just Saw Ong Bak 2 Last Night

They're have the SXSW film festival out here in Austin and one of the movies they were premiering was Ong Bak 2. We got there 45 minutes before it started and there was already a long fucking line, but we got in. Damn, Tony Jaa came with another classic. Again, the fight scenes were just amazing. The settings and costumes were very good, too. He did quite a lot of sword fighting in this movie. There were I believe 5 fight scenes with him in it plus another 1 or 2 without him. His third fight scene, where he's drunk, is fucking amazing. And the last fight scene is even more amazing, probably at least 15 minutes long. When it's released in the U.S., I'll go see it again just to do my part in putting money in his pocket so he'll keep making these kinds of movies.

From what I was told, it sounds like the scheduled U.S. release date is in October. Damn, that's almost a year after it was released in Asia. I'm glad I got to see it when I did.
