i got this affidavit in the mail today sayin i got to report for jury duty, failure to appear w/ out excuse or postponement is punishable by contempt and/or fine.

i cant find shit in tha disqualification section that i can checcmark. has anyone received one of these notices and if so do you know i can get outta it.

Ive gotten one before...i had my work type up somethin sayin that they cant afford to have me miss work for there bullshit...but thats for King County,WA....im sure its different in your spot...

theres not a specific date but it says for the week of jan 24. it says call the sat or sun before the 24 to see if additional jurors are needed if so ill have to report. im from up north but im in san diego right now. i only been here 8 months and they already hit me up. i thought jury duty was a one time thing, what do you mean by you "usually" get jury duty down there?

I've always checked CONVICTED FELON and they dont fuck with me. I assume it's because they dont actually check.

jury duty is whack, we gotta fuck wit martinez, they jsut make u sit there, usually u just sit n chill n they dismiss u after a few hours.... only way to get out of it is to postpone it, or say u are disabled n gotta take a piss every 15 minz cuz of sum medicine u gotta take.... thats what my pops did at least

I've gotten the same thing twice, and both times I didn't wake up in time to go, and ain't shit happened to me... They got better things to do than put me in jail... The reasoning is this, if enough people show up you're cool, if there aren't enough jurors all the folks who didn't show are FUCKED.

i always just go in dressed HELLA bummy...like the shitiest clothes you got, and while you waitin to be called, just sit there and talk to your self (helps if you go slighty drunk) and say weird things out loud...

When they ask you the question just reply to everything with a crazy remark

I.E.

"How do you feel about police officers"

" the police are the creation of Satan, and everyone is guilty under the eyes of the almight Beelzebub"

"This is a domestic violence case..how do you feel about DV"

"In the eyes of my god the almight Planet Saturn, the star have told me that women should be beaten and not heard"


or tell them that you distrust the legal system since you were swindled out of million by a crooked attorney and you feel judges are all crooked and being paid by the attorneys


or you could just pretend to have Tourettes Syndrome...or really bad twitching and tics.....or just just act like you are beng followed by the CIA and pretend inanimate objects are listening devices used by the FBI to watch you movements ...
