Why the fuck should JT care about those of you who bitch about his business? If you don't wanna buy what he's selling, then don't. If you bought a few of his CDs and didn't like them, then he's still getting paid. People on here keep complaining that 'it's all about the money', and 'you don't care for the music any more'. How many rappers do it just for the love? In this day and age, none. Everyones got green eyes - why spend your life in the rap industry if it's not gonna pay your rent? That's just fucking stupid.

Keep doing your thing JT - fuck them e-haters.

how do you think the "Get the money" mentality affects the quality of the music?

that's why we're complaining - JT is coming here, talking about how much money he made, what he owns, etc., nobody here gives a fuck about his financial status, we want good music to listen to and if rappers, beatmakers, producesr, CEOs and everybdy else involved in the game keep thinking the same way, and not only that, but also write books where they teach young rappers how to adopt the same kind of mentality, hip-hop will get worse and worse (and it's gettign worse and worse)

Of course we'll be complaining; should we just be happy with the crap that's being sold to us and keep our mouths shut? If the music doesn't matter, why not start recording and selling 60 minutes silence, it won't make any difference, maybe it will be even better

JT, you mentioned somewhere that you're here for straight in ya face discussion, you get it:

1. hip-hop sucks because of people like you, who have the talent but insead of using it to create, you choose to get the easy money

2. the last release that had your name on it and that was worth listening to was Somethin Crucial, after that EVERYTHING you released SUCKED, with the exception of the occasional good track here and there, usually used on at least 5 other albums and compilations

that's what we're talking about; and when one see how you come here posting how many beats you bought for cheap and how many albums you made with them, I understand why

3. stop calling everybody hater, most people who critcized you were telling the truth, which is not hating

its crazy how everyones minds have been corrupted by rap music that anything and everything, even if it involves ripping you off is "hustling". And anyone who says otherwise gets accused of "knocking the mans hustle"...
Does this mean we cant talk shit about any sort of businesses or white rich CEO's cuz they are "getting their money"? its rediculous.

"oh fuck, i just ordered a cheeseburger and when i got it, it had no cheese on it.....but i guess that resturaunt is getting their money! gotta respect them for their hustle!!!"

now BILL GATES, he has hustle, by yall standards....not JT the Bigga Figga

i remember back in the day everyone was clowning on too short for moving to atlanta, but then someone said "gotta go where the money is", and as soon as he said that, everyone changed their opinions. "yea, youre right, hes getting his money!" what the fuck?!!? Isnt that considered selling the fuck out?!?! Peoples minds been polluted....

if ur buyin beats off the sicness at $10 a pop, i dont think your gonna be able to pay a lawyer to read the fine print

I don't think it's that complicated, I think it's the equvalent of buying a sample CD (not the beats & Breaks type, but the kind with original sounds and loops). Buying it gives you a license to use them in any way you want.

George Clinton sold a few of these years ago. His was a lot cheaper on the front-end (regular album/CD prices) but there were specific dollar amounts for actually licensing them, which was spelled out on the inside jacket.

Personally, I think JT should add a little more to the product to give more flexibility, like separate stems of the different sections of the tracks isolated would be nice.

Not a bad idea though, maybe he should put something in the contract so you have to show a copy of a receipt to license the beats or something, before people start uppin' them all to Soulseek, YousendIt, etc and using them free of charge.
