honestly, I think jones ducked and dodged the opponents that would whip his ass. He was the true definition of a champion. I don't really like de la hoya, but he's a hell of a lot more of a champion than jones jr. to me

for yall who didnt see the fight all of your antics are false. the fight wasn't fixed jones just aint got it no more. he said he doesnt want a rematch that he has nothing to prove against tarver???????????????? after people said he lost the 1st time and getting knocked out the 2nd time. jones was tellin larry merchant - guys get up to fight me i dont get up to fight guys.... jones has no heart, no pride. even tho he's a legend at what he accomplished i will only remember how he went out when he was faced with a true test.

Antonio Tarver host on ESPN!

Tarver returns as guest analyst this week on Friday Night Fights!
Less than a week after dethroning touted pound-for-pound best boxer Roy Jones via second-round knockout, light heavyweight Antonio Tarver will return to the ESPN2 Friday Night Fights studio to serve as analyst. Tarver, who previously joined studio host Brian Kenny on February 13, says of his return:

“I’m honored to have the opportunity to work with Brian (Kenny), Joe (Tessitore) and Teddy (Atlas) for the second time. I intend to be in rare form, and I’m sure what I have to say about Roy (Jones, Jr.) won’t fall on deaf ears this time. I have another knockout in my bag of tricks, and this one is for the fans. As always, I’ll have a lot to say about the fights and the state of boxing, which, if you didn’t know, is looking great now that I’m the new pound-for-pound king. I’ll make sure to bring some extra tissues for those Roy Jones, Jr. fans who are still in mourning. I invite all fans to tune in and watch another exciting night of ESPN2 Friday Night Fights.”
