Yeah,Just dont know what branch yet!!!

I am leaning toward Coast Guard!But maybe air force or army!!Dunno though,lookin for advice!!Want to make it a career and retire with the military thats why i think the Coast guard would be better then all cause they dont deploy as long when they do and u stay somewhere longer......the only branch i wont join is the marines.

Join the Air Force bro. I've been in almost 4 years and haven't deployed anywhere longer than 1 week. Find a job that you want to do and make sure that you reserve that job BEFORE going to basic training. I don't know too much about the coast guard, but as for actual military, go for the Air Force. I know plenty of people that joined the Army and wished that they had gone into the AF.

i myself have just signed up with the airforce, and have yet to start basic, i still have to pick my job and sign the final papers, but i looked at the army, navy and marines, and i'm confident that the airforce is a great choice, based on my own research and conversations with other people i know who are in the military.

I was gonna post Air Force for a choice as well. I got alot of old friends that joined the military...and the only one that doest regret it is in the Air Force. He is doing very well for himself and I think is done with it already. But he is over seas....so he gets out once he touches foot back on US soil.

he said the Air force is the best decision he made.

They may not fight wars,but they are a big part of keeping the states from alota shit.And they are apart of one of five branches of the military.

But I would go navy,or coast guard.Army and Marines deploy for months at a time,and stay deploying.Also army and marine base life is garbage.Air force gots good living, you got your own room and share a a bathroom.Navy deploys quite a bit but is better living.And Coast guard most you deploy for is 3 months,and they wont move you every 4 years to anotha location.They all have there ups n downs though.

I been in the Air Force about 2 and a half years now, and I can't say I regret joining. I definetly wouldn't recommend it if you have any other options. The biggest thing though is find a job you like and want to do and don't settle for anything else. I actually don't mind military life, I just really don't like my job. If your recruiter tells you that job isn't available either wait until it is, or find another recruiter. As far as deploying, it's really not that bad. Unless you're special forces, or a cop you're probably never gonna leave base. The worst you'll face is some rocket or mortar attacks. Don't stress it though, you make lots of money. Hit me back if you have any questions.

I was planning to Join the Air Force next year, and that's exactly what I was telling myself. As much as I love this Country and pray for it, joining the Military is like joining the Corrupted Government Gang. It probably would have been a Different Story if Bill was still Pres. But things change, and I can't tell me self, I'm killing the Taliban and Terrorists because I'm fighting for my country, because the War against Afghanistan I sort of approve. Most of the time I'm Pro-Peace, but not Anti-War don't get me wrong. But when he declared War on Iraq, I couldn't see my self as a Soldier then Say, I'm killing Terrorists for my country, nah, because this war was Bush's Agenda! Even a couple of family friends have been brainwashed, sad to say, but ey that's their life and I'll just continue to pray for em.

That's what they all say, The Marines an Navy Seals are mainly for the Elites and for Harsh Trainees. They're both Notorious for Hazing as well. I don't care, that's why I aint joining the Military.
