I've got an experience to share with yall.

When I went to Iraq I was all fucked up cuz I ain't never seen no people that lived like that. Just poor and dirty and shit. With thier towns all blown to shit not from just the military but from rival tribes a majority of the time. So I would give all my shit away when we would go on missions like candy, mre's etc., anything I could spare basically.

And one of my sgt.s would always tell me "Hey man don't do that shit". And I would get pissed and say "have a fuckin heart sgt. these people ain't got shit" or I would always try and play the protector and say stuff like "we should help and fight for these people because they have been oppressed for so long that they have forgotten how to fight."

And he said one thing that at first got me pissed and later I understood after bein there.

My Sgt. - "Fuck em Calahan if they can't fight for themselves then they deserve to die."

And then I started to realize stuff like when I went to one of Saddam's palaces and his shit was all nice and looked like a millionaire's estate like you would see in hollywood. And right outside the gate there were literal shacks with no windows and hella people lived in them.

And I started to wonder well Goddamn I now people feared Saddam cuz he was ruthless. But the American Military is the most powerful and destructive force on the planet, we took out Saddams feared military in 30 days, and yet thier still out there planting I.E.D.s and trying to snipe our asses because we are "infidels".

And I then started to think well goddamn if your gonna fight that hard against an enemy that was even more powerful then your oppressor why didn't wanna you whiny heartless bastards try to plant an I.E.D. when Saddam was rollin past your shack and raping your daughters?

And then I understood "Fuck'em if they don't wanna stand up for anything then they deserve to die."

It is not our responsibility to police the fuckin world and if we ever invade a place we should just take it over completely. Cuz too many soldiers are dyin out there over whinyass people who use our manpower, our firepower, and our sympathy to accomplish thier agendas.

I've been down in the trenches and it ain't worth it. America has too many problems of it's own to be going out there and tryin to fix somebody else's.
If 99% of the soldiers who are out there are out there because they have to be and not because they want to be, then there is definitely a problem.

Cuz that is not an Army. When that happens it's called slavery. When people stop believing in what and why our military was created in the first place then it's all a downward spiral from there.

Our military was created to protect and defend an idea that there should be a place with open arms to all the people of the earth to come to, and live in peace and harmony if that's what they are seekin. Those who go against this idea are enemies.

In the real kingdom of heaven you have to earn your right to be there and understand what being there means and represents. When you forget this or choose not to be apart of this idea you should be kicked out just like Adam and Eve and not be allowed to return until you learn again what this means. And I guess if Heaven is supposed to be on Earth then the only way you get "kicked out" is to die before your time.

This whole damn Earth belongs to God. Stop drawing manmade borders on God's earth. And fight for what is good period.

There you will find a real Army, a real purpose, and paradise in the making for all those who seek it.

As for joinin the military. You will find a war there too just like the one you find everyday you wake up and go out to do whatever it is you do. A war against oppression and corruption. You can fight there if you want to or you can fight wherever it is God has placed you.

Real Hero's make the earth a better place to live in. And teach others how to do this.

A real Army is undivided amongst itself.

What is love?

Find it. Understand it. Fight for it. Fuck everything else.

jesus is closer to unconditional love. its not as much about love as it is about unconditional love.
its preached by several groups of people, and is supposed to be one of the ways to reach enlightment.

If your values conflict with the military, don't join. If you do, join the Air force. I just got out last year after doing 6 years. I was deployed twice. The first time was in Diego Garcia where the B-52s were stationed during the bombings in Afghanistan in 2002 and the other time was in Panama City, Fl.

Even if you are planning on retiring from the military sign up for the least amount of years initially. Don't sign up for 6 years. #1 You might find out the military isn't your cup of tea. #2 If you hate your first job like I did you are guaranteed a job change after 35 months.

I initially signed up for 4 but changed my job after 3 years and was obligated to serve 23 months after my job change. That's how I served 6 years. After 6 years in 2 different jobs, I realized the military bullshit is always there no matter what job you have.

If you sign up for 6 years, you can change your job after 59 months. So if you hate your first job, you have to be in it for 5 fucking years before you can change. Don't fall for the $3-6k bonus the recruiters throw in your face for signing up for 6 years. I know at 19 or being broke that sounds like a lot of money. $6,000 or $10,000 isn't a lot in comparison to what you are giving them. They come out on top. You are giving them 2 years extra of your life without overtime pay. You might hate your life in the military too. You can always make money back but not your time. Besides the time, your bonus is taxed. You make $6,000 in half a year in your first year. You give them 2 extra years for a half years pay? Don't be fooled! I know everyone I talked to who signed up for 6 years regrets it. They didnt do the math like I did. All these 19 year olds think 6k is a heap of cash lol.

Lastly but not least don't choose a career in vehicle ops or maintenance in the Air Force. My friend got deployed 6 months in 2005 and he is doing another 6 months right now as we speak in Iraq. They trained him how to drive a convoy and shoot guns. He drives army convoys around. He seen some crazy shit. He's faced near death situations like getting shot at through the windshield while driving and saved a civilian contractor driver's life by performing first aid after running over a road bomb. He's in the air force doing an army job.

Here is a clip of him fucking around shooting some rounds back in the spring in Iraq.

^^^I signed up for 6 and I don't regret it at all. I'm going on my 4th year and can't complain at all. I guess it's the career field I chose. I'm a communications/computers sytems operator. I sit in front of a computer all day. All of the military ain't what most people think it is, going out there and shooting people and getting shot at.

Fact is most people in the military are not in it for thier country or to follow the presidents foriegn policy. most people in the military cannot afford college or in a point in their life where they do not want to struggle to find food and shelter. others want better schools and life than they can provide for their family out in the streets. that is the motives for most people who join the military. I have been in the USAF for 6 years and it is one of the best decisions that i have made. when you apply for a job make sure you research it first or ask me cuz they give a lot of cool names to fucked up jobs ask anyone in the AF.

i can see how one benefits from joining the military, especially to just have it on your resume for the rest of your life, but as you think, you are only one person who will benefit more than you lose so its alright.

but remember all the others joining with the same intent.
That once all of you are put together as a military will change the big picture into something else.

Its kinda ironic how on a rap forum where fools talk about how they bad and hard and what have you that when it comes to some real shit they are all scary... I am not talking about everyone but if the shoe fits wear it.
Orders are a bitch sometimes.. like the ones that take you to places that you do not want to be but its part of being a soldier just about everyone with this anti-soldier mentality can just chill right where they are at, The back burner. If any of you do acctually fight for whatever cause you have I applaud you but fighting the soldiers is just simply ignorant you should be hitting up your congressmen.

I see all of you guys tryin to convince him not to join the military, how bout giving him some alternatives??

If i were in your place, i would find a job, apply for financial aid and enroll in a community college. Not havin money aint an excuse not to go to college, theres a lot of programs out there, you just gotta research and put in some work. Theres other (and in some cases better) ways to build a future. All it takes is 2 years of C. College, then transfer to a university, another 2 years you'll be a college educated man.

You can also do both (college and military) by going to a service academy or doing ROTC at whatever college you attend....
