yeah, Johnny Z (www.jdeville.com) produced "California Lifestyles" on the 4080 "Mobbin thru the bay" comp. That's a tight track. You got another dope version of this track on the comp "Playas Association : the bomb-bay".

Damn, he produced too many dope beats. Check, the comp's he put out with Young Dru "707 compilation" & "707 The sequel", all the Jay Tee N2Deep's LPs, the "Playas Association" comps (www.40ouncerecords.com)..., Potna Deuce first LP, Young Dru's LPs, PSD "Game costs"; he made also some knocks for Riderlife (the track featuring Boo-Yaa Tribe is fire), P-Reek "Setland wayz", Sleep Dank, Tha Funxsouljaz "Neva walk alone"...

He gots a tight track featuring Mac Dre, Miami and Shorty B on Young Flav "Catch me if you can" album...
Check also the remix he did for NPK'z on Bayrider comp: "Forty Fourz" featuring Spice 1 and Taydatay

Hope it helps... Peace

The last 2 tightest songs he did that I heard were "We Run This Whole Thang" off my album "So Cold" & "Mac Named Dre" off of Mac Dre's "Thizzelle Washington". He's done hundreds of tight songs, but those are 2 recent ones that came to mind. He also has a classic knocker on "40 Ounce Record Presents -One One" called "V-Town Finale" featuring me, Mac Dre, Tha Unda Dogg, Young Dru, Kobra & Suspects. Get ready....

never that folks!!!! I got that 17 Reasons song on there, track 12 Sideways-Beesh, Coolio, Down For Brown (really should be called "Sideshow" it was a misprint on the 17 reasons tracklisting) & that Looie Crew track is pro´lly going on volume 2, if I can get some more suggestions & so forth, I don´t have that "Golden State" album, my folks had it, but if I remember right it was a different beat than the 1 featured on the Rompalation right???? Also that same friend had Jay Tee´s "So Cold" album & yeah I had a couple of tracks I wanted to get off there (need to buy these last 2 albums).................

my bad, yeah tho, the beat is diff. than the one on the romp 1. baby beesh did the one on romp 1 i think, that's why he says baby beesh, production so it's hella fat if i'm not mistaking. but that golden state is a must for johnny z beats, don't finish that comp. before you get that! also gather round, and whoo ride from 24-7-365 are tight too

THC! That was my track pimp! Sidesways! I originally produced it but then my boy LoCool took it down to Z's spot and changed the sounds as well as mixed it down so they wrote him as the producer. It was supossed to be called Sideshow your're right but they printed it as Sideways. Nino and Young Dru were also on the track. I was suppose to get down on it but was sick for a while. Down For Brown was my old group but when I decided to stick to only singing cats got mad at me and dropped me, now claiming that I was never part of them! I don't hate em' though cause they were good people and we had hella fun while it lasted! Anyhow, that's a whole other story! lol!!!

To the subject though!!

As far as Z! He's one the tightest producers I've ever met and worked with! I love that dude!!!

I always figured that it was called "Sideshow" cause of what the hook says, didn´t know you produced the track Matai, did Johnny Z add anything to the track (so I can at least put him in as a co-producer =)????
