If you're not worried about benefits for now, a temp agency is a good choice.

Team-One

Montgomery Staffing

Office-Team

^ Mostly office jobs...$15-25 an hour...its cool cause the hiring process is hella simple, and a lot of times the sites you work at eventually offer you full time benefitted positions...
where do you go to apply at some of them places? where are they located? Can you apply online?

It really doesn't matter, because its really entry level shit...like filing...nothing really major. When I worked for TeamOne the only experience I had was @ Round Table Pizza and Target...haha...

Not all are entry level @ Office Team. They got politics, requirements & restrictions just like a lot of these other jobs. I don't know about the one in the Bay but the Office Team in Sac usually pay to those with Advances PC skills, degrees or mothafuckas that can type hella good. Their entry level shit starts out between 10-12 an hour. I've got some assighnments thru Office Team. Some of their shit is cool. Starting out in a mail room or a regular file clerk is a hella good way to get ur foot in the door of an office job. Another good way is knowing someone that works @ a temp agency. That always work. I've worked thru about 15 temp services & I learned its always helpful to get in real good with a recruiter cuz they'll usually look out for u & find u work a lot faster & will have the plug when a really good assighnment come thru.

There's a Coca-Cola bottling plant in American Canyon...I turned down a job there a few years back, they work you 6 days a week for like 10-12 hour shifts, good if you wanna work and earn money and do nothing else.

Government jobs are going to be harder to come by with the hiring freeze at the state level and some local agencies...I know my agency has a temporary freeze due to the possible state budget issues that could trickle down to our county.
