Single Wing Football
First of all the so called "Wildcat" is really "The Single Wing" which is what all NFL teams originally ran back in the day. So it was the traditional play calling until everyone concentrated on stopping it. That's when they started coming up with different formations... It's only called "The Wildcat", because that's what Arkansas called it in their playbook... Just like if you had a team and you just gave another name for the I-Form, Spread, etc...
The Fins are just bringing back the original NFL old fashioned football and I love it! Pop Warner was actually the one who invented it and it stayed around for decades, because it's so deceiving. I don't see what the big deal is if old school football is working?
Really the way to stop it is to assign each Linebacker to each back, but if the offenses blocking is vicious, it's a wrap! That's why I love it, because it uses multiple blockers at the point of attack! To me, blocking the shit out of the defense and knocking them on their ass is REAL FOOTBALL!!! I just hope now that The Fins add the Tradional Wedge to their playbook... I haven't saw that in the NFL in my lifetime...

I used this formation before when I was coaching youth football and it worked tremendously, because the Defense couldn't keep track of the ball. Like I said earlier it is so deceptive as you will see in this video...

Miami had 11 wins last season and made the playoffs after a 1 win season thanks to the wildcat... they just shit all over what is supposed to be one of the best defenses in the NFL thanks to the wildcat... that's really GAY huh?

I don't see how a formation that engages more contact and knock players out on their asses is gay? If anything, most of these WR's now days are fuckin' gay to the 10th power! Most of them refuse to block and want money before they even proved themselves on a professional field.
Most NFL fans that are ignorant don't realize the benefits of "The Single Wing". Like minusing a second for the defense to react by eliminating a hand off with a Direct Snap Isolation Play. Also, you have 3, sometimes 4 blockers at the POA! It reminds me of these dumbfuck fathers that use to criticize at practices before the season even started. "Oh, that's not real football"! or "That's not going to work"... My favorite, "They should have these kids running The Spread"! These ignorant dumb fathers are the same ones who would get their knowledge from John Madden watching MNF, LMFAO! WWE watching booger eaters... SMH
