who else worked harder, won more, played longer, and did it all with as much class and sportsmanship? nobody. not even close. not jim brown. not montana. not anyone. if you can find a category he fell short in id like to know about it and i fucking hate the 49ers.
lol, bro I'm not disagreeing with that at all

the way you worded that statement was confusing... but yes, I agree with you

I think people could argue who's the best QB ever, best RB ever, etc... nobody is debating who's the best WR ever... Jerry Rice was the GOAT, and I hate the Niners too, lol... but he was also a Raider

Jerry Rice is one of the rare athletes in any sport that is admired by damn near everyone, if not everyone, even despite someone's own team loyalties.

What could anyone possibly hate on him for? Best route runner, owns every record, work ethic second to none, came from a very small school yet still succeeded, plus he did it all with class.

His desire to be the best is fucking nuts, too. I remember one of his interviews where he said he never took a vacation in his first 10 years in the league because he believed that's what it took to be the best.

Jerry has set a standard that present and future WRs will never meet......But he should appreciate the hall of fame/perennial pro bowl Quarterbacks he played with his whole career. That makes shit a lot easier.

i think the qbs should be thanking him. his production never dropped off when he played for different qbs.

They couldn't have done it without each other obviously. I'm just saying Jerry is extremely fortunate to have played with the best of the best QBs his whole entire career. Chris Carter & Tim Brown didn't get that opportunity.

too bad the Raiders ruined his chances of a 100% win percentage in super bowls lol
lol funny you mention this. Was just watching the jerry rice special on comcast sportsnet and Jerry said this about being on the raiders and going to the superbowl:

"to get to the ultimate game, the superbowl, and to lose that was devastating to me because I was used to winning football games, winning superbowls. with the niners went 3 times and won. with the raiders i went once and lost."

lol Jerry epitomizes what it is to be a niner!!
