I know this aint a bay area thread. i dunno if someone already posted this topic. but after 2 weeks of listening to the black album, i came to tha conclusion that this album might be jay's best. i can knock this shit from beginning to end. i know there are a lot of people that dont like it but lyrically this nigga be sayin some shit. beats are off the hook. what are your thoughts

i agree ^^ but i'm kinda disappointed

there's like 3-4 really bad tracks..... and those samples got corny a long time ago... but it's overall a good album

i'm a big Jay-Z fan, and i think it's probably an average album for him but still an above-average compared to most albums out there

best track is 'justify my thug'
