I'm sorry if this has already been posted but I heard on the radio that Jay-z is stepping down from his position at Def Jam and releasing a new album as soon as December, Personally i wish jay-z would cart off this giant ass lips from the public spotlight for good, but does anyone care if this "retired" rapper drops a new one?

I think jay is washed, he wont have anything relevant to say. in fact, hes a lways been a tremendous spitter, but hes so stuck on his self with that braggadoscious rap he has only a handful of meaningful songs. he doesn't spit real game, anytime he does it be something 40 said as much as ten years prior.

I happy he's coming back.
I heard he was dropping a new album to put all those in check who was talking shyt about him. But it's whatever. Micheal Jordan came back like three times and he's is still considered the greatest. Same thing Differerent game.

He went out on a high note with The Black Album, hopefully his new shit is at least as good as that. If not he should stay retired...

Jigga is cool. So with all this wack ass shit comming out, some of yall dont want Jay to come out? Thats crazy. I think he should've never retired. The Eastcoast needs him. Hip hop could definitely use a different flavor.

I only bump Reasonable Doubt thru Vol.3.... After that his style got kinda played out for me...... Im not reely into Jay-Z & I dont like the other rappers from Roc-a-fella either... Theyre not worth bumpin so therefore, theyre nothing special to me whatsoever......

I've never seen a rapper retire without coming back and dropping like 5 more albums.

Short-Came back and is still making hits
Master P- Retired pretty much copying short and came back and dropped like 10 extremly crappy albums
Jay-Z-Will come back and probably drop a couple more albums, Hova has plenty of right to say hes the greatest dispite what alot of people on this site has to say. He ain't my favorite but i still think hes arguably the best. I want to see if that Jay-Z/Nas collabo album ever comes out thatl be nice
