So should I go with the standard cyclone fan? They run for about $20-25

Or get a tower fan? They're about twice as expensive ($50).

My room is upstairs, and it gets insanely hot, and stays up to 95degrees until 2am in the morning I can't even sleep! So I definitely want something powerful that blasts a lot of cool air. Are the tower fans worth the extra money? Do they push more cooler air then traditional fans? Or are they merely more expensive because of their design? Anyone own of these?

central a/c is very nice.

72 degrees all day everyday. i really don't know what you guys are talking. is that portable a/c a foreign language? just fucking around. central air is a good investment if you own your house. a good portable works as well.

folks dont understand.. that having the door open doesnt help.. its just letting more heat in.. if u close all the doors and windows.. u keep the heat out.. then bust out the fan.
