Ive met dozens of people from the Northwest who love Bay Area music. Same thin with cats from Southern California, AZ, Washington DC, FL, etc. I dont think there was ever a coma homie...just people unaware of what the bay is capable of.
Thats great for Washington. Ive been listening to KMEL in SF for the past two hours and the only song they played that wasn't from the Bay Area was the new Pharrel and Kanyne. Im glad you music is gettin as much love where you from.
Are we being serious here homie? I mean, the whole hyphy movement started because of one song? Mac Dre's career was made by this one song? I think Feelin Myself and Get Stupid had a much bigger impact than Thizz Dance and I doubt Dre made these songs because of the one beat your region contributed to popular hip hop.
