anyways...if yall think smoov is whack, either u haven't heard his best ish, or u just dont know whats good wit classic bay rap...dude aint the greatest lyrically, but his flow was up there. he's produced classics with bay legends and was close wit mac dre, so to question him on a bay area message board is beyond me.

"smoov-e moved me to a better location"....they were not workin wit him for money. they were actually much bigger than him at that point, so if anything, he was makin money off them, not the other way around. when you hit 12, u will stop makin dumb assessments.

Why do people play the "but you can't rap card" all the time? I can't rap, that why I don't put out rap cd's. But that doesn't mean my opinion is any less credible than yours.


And for the record, Dre did EVERYTHING for money....

i'm pretty sure dre only rapped with mufuckaz he could truly feel....smoov-e's associated artists were all down with him, it wasnt just a money thing. from nicky, to raided, ask em if smoov-e is a talented mufucka, and they'll laugh in ur face for askin......guaranteed.
