Seriously i wasnt feelin Pac's music until he got down with Death Row. I was slumpin Ruthless By Law, YBB, and GLP before I'd thrown on pre Death Row 2Pac tracks.

old old topic, but point blank period is that a lot of the music we have today would not be the same (nor would we have it) without him...biggest INFLUENCE in hip hop ever.

Pac is a true hip-hop legend, thats why he the most overrated rap artist of all time, right next to 50 Cent, Enimem, Snoop, & Dre...

Why I say that, cuz I always hear so many people from all over bumpin Pac's music & always mentioning him. Anyone else ever noticed that???...

Pac's pre-Death Row days were on some real CLASSIC hip-hop shit. A lot of my favorite Pac tracks were from albums like 2pacalypse Now and Strictly 4 My N.I.G.G.A.Z.

2pacalypse is tight as fuck, I haven't heard anything sounding like that album yet; that was the real gangsta rap that was both hardcore and meaningful I don't know why people don't pay much attention to it

i loved his pre-death row music,, very political and the lyrics and his delivery are classic and will always be untouchable and never duplicated....

one of my favs from the pre death row -- shed so many tears... that song hits me hard whenever i hear it, like no other hip hop song recorded

Not even close to over-rated at anything underated. IMO
Are you crazy? Pac Underrated? How many other rappers have College courses at schools like UC Berkeley that teach their poetry? I went to college with grown men who worshiped pac and prayed to a huge wall poster that covered their dorm wall. Literally would pray to pac and light candles. These were cats from New York, Philly, Jersey etc. Pac is almost jesus like to many people Its actually pretty fuckin odd.

NO! he's not. He's more of a legend than any other Rapper/Actor/Entertainer in the world. For many reasons. You can't compare anyone in the industry to PAc ever.

pac is over-rated

since he died, its become "cool" to listen to his music, which, IMO, isn't that great. theres hella more people that are better than pac. don't get me wrong, im still quick to throw in a pac cd and smoke to it. but theres still more people i would pick over him

same wit biggie, he's garbage to me, but since he died, its become "cool" to listen to him.

the rap games odd. ur only a legend when u die. of course theres sum exceptions but for the most part, its true

He's the most imitated rapper in this game, he started what many are duplicating to this day. And not every rapper that dies becomes a legend, there are many, but none that had more affect on people than pac and big.
