Ima finally step my media player game up?

Should I cop a 30gig Ipod or Zune ?

I'm leaning toward the Zune cause I don't wanna really fuck with itunes and the way it orginizes songs.

Anyone got either one of these?

cant say i know about zune but i been using Ipods for years now. what dont you like about ITunes organizing songs? you can use other programs for ipods too

When I borrowed my brothers Ipod I hate that when I search for artist on the ipod, it'll list the artist and features seperate.

Might say:

E40
E40 feat. Blegit
E40 feat. Turf talk

But they should all be in one folder. Or a mixtape will be spread through out the whole ipod... Is there a way to fix that?

of course...thats not an ITunes issue thats the way a song is tagged. I always just change it, you can select a bunch of MP3s and change the artist name and usually for mixtapes i will change the Artist to "Various Artists"

mac or PC is jus fine for IPod.... Im pretty sure Zune works for Mac, that would be pretty stupid for them not to support em

Also zune as a nice screen for movies

Hmm maybe ill cop the zune 8GB, and if its fresh ill give it to Wifey and then cop a 30GB one ( if it suck ill go ipod)


No one got a Zune? That's microsofts brand right? Apple got the market on lock

i have a creative mp3 player its ok, the volume comtrol is funny though it will go all over the place before it goes to the volume i want it to, like it will spike up and down. I got it as a gift though so i cant complain. The one they make thats a step up from the one i have is straight though

Your brother doesn't know how to label music :knockout:

if he uses iTunes he needs to set the album artist as E-40, that way they'll show as one.

But me myself I put the featured artists in the song spot

Thats becuase the songs are tagged that way. You can ID3 tag them anyway you like. I list the features after the song names, not on the artists line becuase of that very same thing...i hate that. So your brother needs to learn how to tag correctly. Dont be detered becuase of someone elses preferences.

I got one of those for my girl for her b-day....im jealous to say the least. Only problem is, they only make a max of 32 GB's....if they come out with a 100+ like my iPod (which i do NOT endorse, I only got one for the SIZE), then I am on it.

Flash > hard drive

go with creative labs......best mp3 player. I've had mine for about 2 and a half years. In that time my brothers have gone thru 3 ipods and my homies have gone thru multiple ipods as well. as for the ZUNE, i have heard mixed reviews.

I havent really played with it, ive only loaded music for her. The thing is tiny, though...even smaller than i orginally thought...its a little sexy fucker.

She has only used it a few times, as she got rid of the car that had the aux plug in the front. Once she gets a nerw car, ill fuck around with it more.
