Thats another topic people think immigrants collect wellfare. they cant. They pay taxes and all that but cant get government asistance because they'll get caught. They're also paying for social security and all that other shit but will never see a dime of it. The taxes are being paid but they aint collecting any loot from it.

I have to say, I'm in favor of controlled immigration (ie:terrorist). But over all, I say they do need to learn the culture (adolfoliverbush). I went to a wedding on saturday, nothing but paisas. I don't mind the way they dress, talk and all of that shit. But for them to only sit there and try to have a conversation in spanish when they know they are in the US of A...it's fucking annoying. Other than that, the country well knows we need the immigrant worker. It's messing up our economy. Immigration hit hard, house sales went down because house prices went up. Vegetables are rising in cost. Farmers are losing their crops, we are not only becoming dependant on foreign oil, but soon...vegetation itself.

a teacher making 96k? and 32yrs old? i dont know, but thats unheard of where im from. believe me, im all for immigrants and though it makes me sad, what they decide to do when they get here, doesnt anger me or ruin my life and what im doing. and though i dont agree with her, i see where shes coming from. shes not living check by check because she doesnt work hard enough. shes well educated and busts her ass all day trying to teach history to uninterested kids (including all the time she spends grading shit for over 100 students). so when she sees somalian kids with brand new cell phones and ipods, and knows that neither of their parents work but get monthly govt checks, it just gets her pissed.
she also complains about how financial aid wouldnt really help pay for her two sons college (most or much of which she paid for) while they throw finaid at minorities. her anger isnt that the minorities dont deserve it, but just that she feels shes always worked full time and been at low points in her life when she was just as deserving for govt assistance but wouldnt get it (shes a widow by the way) because shes not some type of minority. with all this i could see why a person would be bitter
whats the demographic of the kids you work with? i ask cause from my experience, and this is all generally speaking, philipinos, newly immigrated vietnamese, and newly immigrated africans (mainly somalian and ethiopian) are all hard working good students. the newly immigrated vietnamese and africans blow me away with their politeness and effort to learn the language and do well in school. they stay after school for help and shit. now when it comes to the black and mexican americans, and newly immigrated mexican students...whole nother story. i dont blame them or hate them for this, because i think the problem is bigger than them, and theyre too immature and ignorant to realize it, but these kids are the most lazy and and apathetic students ive ever worked with. its like they feel entitled to the american dream or just have lost all hope of achieving it. its sad to see but just the way it is. just wondering if youve noticed anything similar or maybe opposite?

HERES AN EXAMPLE I WAS DRIVING TO WORK A MONTH AGO AND A GROUP OF MEXICAN MEN IN A DAEWOO SMACKED INTO THE SIDE OF MY CAR, NONE OF THEM SPOKE ENGLISH, THE DRIVER HAD NO INSURANCE, AND NO DRIVERS LICENSE, SO I HAD TO CALL THE POLICE TO GET A CASE NUMBER FOR MY INSURANCE, AND HE GOT HIS CAR IMPOUNDED, I MISSED A DAY OR WORK I DIDNT GET PAYED FOR, I HAD TO TOW THE CAR, AND RENT A CAR FOR 2 WEEKS, AND I WAS INCONVENIENCED FOR DAMN NEAR A MONTH, WHEN I GOT A REPRINT OF THE POLICE REPORT THE GUY ONLY GOT HIS CAR IMPOUNDED, IT DIDNT MENTION ANYTHING ABOUT DEPORTATION BUT THATS NEITHER HERE NOR THERE, AND THATS JUST ANOTHER UNINSURED MOTORIST TO RAISE EVERYONE ELSES RATES, SO THERES THE CASE OF SOMEONE COSTING ME A FARE AMOUNT OF MONEY WHO TECHNICALLY SHOULDNT HAVE BEEN DRIVING DOWN THE ROAD IN THE FIRST PLACE, THAT SHIT DEFFINATELY ISNT FAIR TO ME IS IT?
Honestly, if you're illegal GTFOH seriously. I'm half Mexican too. I know plenty of people that immigrated here the correct way, why can't everyone else? It's the illegals that come here and birth their 5 kids into citizenship that fuck up everything. Before I had my son I wasn't making nearly what I made now, so we would have to go to a public health office. There would be ass loads of Oxacans with multiple bowl hair cutted offspring walking out with formula and WIC cards. Then you see fools driving off in 2005 dodge rams with spoilers, body kits and fake daytons oh and don't forget the rabbit ears. Yeah they want a better life for their families, like anyone else, but fuck that why should it come out of our pockets?
