Good luck but i honestly don't know what you are thinking, we ain't helping shit out there we shouldn't have went in the first place. I'm not a hippy or nothing either, I'm a Enduring Freedom/ Iraqi Freedom vet and know we are in both those countries for all the wrong reasons. Going there isn't gonna help or change nothing, you are just putting yourself in danger. I'd take that paperwork back and tear that shit up if i was you, unless you are willing to die or lose a limb for people who don't want our help.

jray -- it ain't a matter of haters mayne. i got several folks who were over there for over a year...and ALL of them are against the war now. like my homie who jus got back said, bush doesn't give a fuck about the troops, and neither do the motherfuckers giving orders. he was ordered to drive his humvee down a street where 9 people had been killed by roadside bombs that day, for a relatively meaningless task.
i got nothing but love for you, and all the motherfuckers out there. i support the troops, but not what our govt is doing out there. be safe, come back in 1 piece, and realize that even though motherfuckers are against the war - they got nuthin but respect and support for u guys. good luck mayne.

he wasn't talking about someone who fights in the name of an imperialist government. He was probably talking about soldiers in the Black Liberation Army... his aunts were all a part of that. Asatta Shakur and Nehanda Abiodun were fighting against the US government, and the oppressive nature of the police force... real "fuck the police" shit... planting bombs in cop cars and robbing armoured trucks to raise funds for the cause. You think Tupac would support GW Bush's invasion for oil?

I'm not knockin ya I've been affialiated with the military for 7 years but that don't mean I agree with whats going on over there. You said you have your reasons to go, I hope yu ain't goin cuz some girl broke your heart or some lame shit like that. One bonus, you do get a shit load of money for going out there and its all tax free, As an E-5 I could go there for a year and make close to a hundred grand. Thats about the only reason I'd go to that shit hole. They tried to get me over there as a customs agent but i never replied back. The money woulda been great but I'm not getting blown up by some crazy for no one
