My favorite thing about the Dawgs bein' raw this year is that we're finally retaining local talent (i.e. mad cats on the roster from Beach, franklin, Garfield, ect.) thats why they're x-tra special to me :)

Well nobody from Franklin but yeah the top 3 players on this team are from Seattle, and most of the others are. It will continue for years to come.

And I agree, that is why they are more special to me than the Sonics. Bunch of guys who wanted to raise the city up so they went to UW as opposed to some of the "better" opportunities they were presented with.

Actually...theres only 4 players from Seattle...but 9 from Washington state....

Don't even worry about the total team numbers, those walk ons will never see the court. Consider the rotation:

Williams (Corona, CA)
Rollins (Arizona)

Very much a team of and from the 206.

ima Tre fan...that foo is so savvy...i luv the non-chalant look on his face...and hes a sav on the court...he can drive...shoot 3's...its a shame hes out pretty much for most of the season...

Yes there is enough talent in Washington State even Seattle area alone, where if they can get everybody they want from the area they could be a top 10 team. Their not quite to that point yet, but getting closer w/ this 2005 class.
