Pictures ! Everything else can be replaced, and actually has. I had my house burn down in 2000, and we grabbed all of the photo albums and let everything else stay.

really fuck everything but my dogs. as long as theyre safe. i might grab them some food and their water bowls on the way out. but if my house is on fire im not running upstairs for the photos cuz i might save my tv too. i dont think well when it comes to what to take. ill be up there with the house on fire looking for stupid shit like my cell phone charger thinking ill just chuck norris drop kick my way out the 2nd story window and save the run back down the stairs, fuck it

ive already had it happen to me in the san diego fires, but i had such a warning that i almost took the whole damn house with me in less than 30 minutes and was out

on some shopping spree shit
i really had everything, i remembered thinkign i wasnt gonna see the house again so i took everything i needed to feel comfortable.

if my house was on FIRE...im out. i have propane tanks in the garage that would blow my shit the fuck up by itself

my computer, i got like 50 gig of music on this thing. i would also make another run to grab my shotgun. im not loosing my 500$ shotgun or my music.


i got so much shit going on in my head, music is the only thing that really keeps me in check, so its the most important thing in the world to me. when i was young, our car caught on fire, and i wouldnt get out until i had my discman and all my cds.

foreal.. if you go in.. you might not come out because youre basically trying to bring the whole house outside.. break a couple windows and start throwing shit out on the lawn. Fire department is gonna cut up your roof and break the windows anyways for ventilation.

when i was like 5 or 6 our house burned down.. i was actually taking a nap and i woke up to the house in flames, mom was outside getting the mail.. i was able to get the fuck out of there with some minimal hypercapnia (carbon dioxide poisoning). I dont remember much else except the ambulance ride to the ER.

i'm with you on that shit....gotta grab the phone, keys, and all the fire possible....and i usually keep that shit close together when i'm at home...so it's take 5 seconds to grab it all at the most.
