Funny you would call Brady a scheme qb, Payton has had EVERY advantage too be the best, what other team drafts a fucking slot wr with there 1st round pick, there gm has built the team to help peyton suceed since day 1, Belicheat couldnt win SHIT till he got lucky, and stumbled on of the best qb's in the fucking 6th round, 3 supers bowls vs 1, and he is younger.
Tom Brady hasn't had every advantage to be the best? What other team sends a throw away pick to Oakland for Randy Moss? And it's funny, talking about Indy's GM building the team to help Peyton succeed since day one...what are they doing up there in New England? They're probably the best run franchise in the NFL, as far as front office work. Brady gets all the credit, and he deserves some, but that fucking DEFENSE he has had helped win as much as he did.

I fucking hate Tom brady with a passion, sure he may be a winner and has a hella record but hes a fucking cry baby, P manning is getting old but is one of the best to step on the field. Eli is getting up there ever since their superbowl run hes shaping up to what hes expected to be but for some reason Id choose Jay cutler, idk I like this dude too much.

i sorta agree with Brady being a "scheme" or "system" QB...

PROOF...matt cassell...zero starts sicne highschool...goes 11-5...

brady is obviously a great QB...but A LOT of QB's would look great in that system...

manning>brady

I have to go with Brady on this one. Payton is good too but I haven't seen anyone (besides J. Montana) kill other teams off so consistantly in meaningless games and in big games like Brady does, looking like he is not even breaking a sweat either.

Peyton Manning makes receivers great. He has pinpoint accuracy comparable to anybody, GREAT decision-making skills, more awareness than any QB in the league, he reads defenses better than anybody in the league and his arm strength is great. He knows when receivers are going to be open before they ever make their moves to get open! Not to mention HE CALLS THE PLAYS. He's like an offensive coordinator and MVP QB in one. I don't give a shit who he's throwing to. You put Reggie Wayne in Oakland and he will look like an average receiver. Peyton Manning runs EVERYTHING about that offense. People credit the runningbacks for the SuperBowl win, but Peyton was the one calling the run plays when he knew they would work by reading the defense. You replace Peyton Manning with ANY QB in the league and everybody's numbers on the Colts will drop.

People only knock him because he only has 1 SuperBowl ring. Guess what? HE NEVER HAS A GODDAMN DEFENSE! His defense showed up in the playoffs ONE YEAR, and guess what? They won the SuperBowl that year. You give Peyton Manning the defense that Tom Brady had when he won his championships and the Colts would probably have 5 championships by now. Brady was working with receivers who were not big names, but they got open and made catches. Nobody can tell me Peyton Manning wouldn't have been able to get the ball to that same group of guys and if you don't think he could you're only fooling yourself. Brady was working with a very good defense and a very good O-Line when he won his championships.

And if anybody needs proof that Bellichek's system helps it's QB tremendously, all you have to do is look back to last year. Matt Cassel benefited from their system and now is a franchise QB because of it.

Peyton Manning >>>>> EVERY QB in the NFL and it's been that way for a while now.

Brady cant do what Peyton does, all Brady does is stand in the pocket and waits for someone to get open. If it wasnt for his O-line he couldnt run his offense to well. P. Manning throws how throw a defense off, its not even close. the Patriots always had the all around better team when they won those superbowls. give Peyton a good defense and there aint no way in hell you can stop him.
This.

Yeah, I think Manning is the best, but I'm going with Big Ben because he's clutch and he just exemplifies the type of player I'd want running my team.

GBR! I am happy with who we have, because he's clutch in big moments! Fuck the stat nerd bullshit... Just WIN and that's what Roethlisberger does!!!
yeah, but you gotta remember Roethlisberger has done it with a great defense

Peyton Manning has not always had a defense like Pittsburgh

of course what it comes down to is winning... and even though QB is probably the most important position on a team... he doesn't win games by himself

being a good QB is not all about stats... and I'm not taking anything away form Big Ben, because he's one of the best QBs in the NFL today (top 5 IMO) but he's not the best

true but when your defense is not on the field and you have one drive to win the big game and you do so with a nice drive and leadership than you are proven not putting anything against manning he is who I stated as number one but ben is next in line....not going against your statement you are right but just adding to it
