I mean is this dude REALLY that tight? I thought dude was a little original and was making some cool moves working with other artists but EVERY song he's on he uses that damn synth on his voice and every song is about buying drinks and bartender and all this other club shit. I guess its not anything that shouldn't be expected in mainstream hip hop and R&B but is this dude really that tight to folks? I feel like everytime I turn on the radio I face the reality T-Pain IS Hip Hop / R&B.

Thoughts?
YEAH!!! DUDE IS REALLY THAT TIGHT!!!
I GOTS TO GIVE IT UP FOR THESE R&B ARTIST NOWADAYS!!!
THEY ACTUALLY MAKING MUZICC I CAN RIDE TO!!!

Has anyone listened to T-Pain's new CD?
Some of the songs rap about some serious shit, HIV, Suicide, but its also full of club songs. The beats are on point, and he doesnt use his computerized voice all the time.
Pretty good cd imo.

Id say that T-Pain is what he is.....overrated, most definetly....but he isn't THAT bad....I agree with Ces when he said he'll play himself out....if he actually has some real weight in the game, he'll reinvent himself and come up with somethin more original....I've heard a lot worse, but I shure wouldn't slam it in my ride

What ''level'' do you mean? Personal preference? Or sales-wise? Because if it's the latter...sorry, but he's shitting all over Nate Dogg.
I'm talking about straight talent. Nate Dogg is a legend. Akon will never achieve that status. Within a few years he will be forgotten about.
