Barry will get 800...especially since the Giants just picked up his option for '06...I like to watch Ichiro, because he is just a pure hit machine...but, he plays on one of the worst teams in baseball...advantage Barry...Barry is getting at bats, walks, hits, hrs, and doses, in crucial games that have post season implications, making hime the more exciting player to watch right now, although I would like to see Ichiro break the hit record.

You guys who said Ichiro for whatever wack ass reasons are now officially catting-off...so you're saying that you'd rather watch Ichiro tonight, as the Mariners play whoever the fuck, in some meaningless game, than watch Barry tonight, taking on the Dodgers, playing for first place in the NL west, with one week to go in the season?...Either you don't know shit about baseball, or you are that dedicated to your hating.

Mariners will have a HUGE part of the AL West outcome even though they're not contenders (they just put Texas in 3rd when they were tied for 2nd tonight, and 2nd is only 2 games back right now,) save that meaningless shit. Just cuz someone would rather watch someone try to break a 80 something year old record by beating out ground ball outs than a home run hit that everyone is expecting by someone who everyone thinks is on steroids don't mean they're hating, you're just on Bonds' dick.

Ichiro

Seattle playing Texas is meaningless?
If Texas loses, then they get off Anaheim's back in regards of the chase for Oakland. Far from meaningless.

Ichiro's record will happen this year, Bond's wont.
