I need help gettin Ringtones with my Razr'

some1 posted this awhile ago and thats how i learned to record my own shit. just record a voice message and send it to yourself. check for it in your inbox and itll give you the option the save it or apply it as your ringtone.

I dont know why people still fuck with sites.. when you can take any song you want, that you have and pull it to your memory card.

Fedex, u just need a memory stick reader for you PC. That way all you have to do is take the memory stick outta your phone, put in your memory stick and stick that reader into your PC USB port.. then you can just drag MP3 files into the folders of the memory card.. thats it!

If your picky and dont want "the whole song" or u dont like it where it starts.. then you would need a MP3 cutting program.. so you can say, cut the chorus out and use that as a ringtone.. i use "Power MP3 Cutter" its hella easy.. its free, but only if you cut in a certian amount of time.. if you do more then u have to pay like $20 for a full version.. But 15/20 seconds is enough time for a ring tone so u shouldnt have to buy the whole thing.

Basically I barrowed that cord thingy that goes from your phone to your comp.. and then u need a program such as cool edit, adobe audition, or some kinda sound editing program where you just snippet which part of the song you want ( usually 25-40 secs ). Then after u cut which part of the song you want you save it. Then go to "mobile phone tools" add it to you're phone, and BAMMMmmm slappers..just let that shit keep ringing till the beat stops and then call your homie back.

try unplugging it from your phone and plugging it back in. or check to see if ur USB slot that you plugged it in (weither its in the front or the back ) is functional. i had the same problem.. i just tried unplugging and replugging and somehow it worked.

Unless you have the V3X or V3i you don't have a memory card slot and it would be a microSD if you had it.

sorry i didnt see this PM.. i was just searching back through the open forum and saw this and saw that i had a PM.. Dont know if u found the way now or what..

Don't worry about the phone at all.. All you need is that Memory Stick reader.. take the Memory stick outta your phone and place it into the Reader.. then stick the reader into your PC's USB port.. the PC notices it and it becomes a drive.. like your C drive, but its probably like drive G or something. then you can just drag MP3's off onto that Drive and it goes onto the Memory Stick.. when ur done.. take it out, stick it in your phone and look for where you put it.. there should be a folder already on the stick called "Songs" or "Tones" somethin like that.. and just select the song u want.
