Have Others Had The Same Expierence with The Book?

Game Warden said:
its not hate to tell the facts about something and give opinions. Even terrapatch can say what the fuck he wants to say. if the book really is under 30 pages, mostly pictures, and cost $100... its not hating to say that.
Yeah, I agree that it's not hate to express facts...but how much stock can you put in a poster whose profile says that he "eats his own shit" and that his favorite artist is "your mom?" LOL! (not dissing you, Nostril King, that pussy story's funny...)

I mean, think about it: as much fun as a message board can be, you JUST NEVER KNOW who's telling the truth and who isn't--most folks you encounter on message boards are people that you will never meet face-to-face. No one uses their real names, and it's easy to get internet access once you learn to post and log on, etc. So how can one verify who's telling the truth and who isn't? Not an easy task, is it?

Here's the key: other people have to buy the CEO book and give their views, too. If their views match up w/ Nostril King's, then we'll know there's something to it. If not, oh well...As for JT, all I care about is the music. If a Get Low CD comes out that I like, I'll buy it. The rest takes care of itself.

PEACE!

I actually have the book, and in no way did i pay 100$ for it, he gave it to my homegirl who stays out in the moe for her number lol, i don't have a lot of time right now to get into depth on my opinion, but basically it IS under 30, i think even under 20 pages. The design/layout & graphics are immaculate (photo docs) and probably cost a grip for JT. So, no complaints there. It is mostly a biography and how he rose up to where he is at now, and who he has worked with. There are a grip of pages of just pictures of him and his folks, and theres a section of the Hip Hop Summit with pics with him and big names. From what i got from the book, was mostly a "show and tell" and really not much advice. It consisted of maybe a couple pages of "Don't go with this producer, 10 units X 10 bucks a pop will give you 100$" type of "game" So take it how you'd like, but i didn't really "learn" much.

I probably wouldn't even spend 20 dollars on this book, i think it was hyped up a little too much and given more credit than it deserves. I love JT's products, songs, quality, etc... But this book (for the price) is a joke...

An example of money not well spent.

Well, LadyTragik, I haven't read the book, so I can't comment one way or another. At least you don't let your opinion of the book effect your opinion of Get Low MUSIC. You said, "I love JT's products, songs, quality, etc." and you're right--Get Low is still making dope CDs even now...I hope JT continues making his own beats again--STRAIGHT OUT THE LABB 2 shows that it makes a world of difference when he does, IMHO (as do the two tracks he did for THIS IS HOW WE EAT).

PEACE!

again you guys keep bringing this shit on. ITS 4 CDS FOR $6. WHY ARE YOU STILL BITCHING? Damn if you cant spend that much go download it. I like the 4 pack idea so quit bitching bout it.
First off, this is the first time I ever mentioned these 4 packs. Secondly, where are they 6 bucks? Last time I remember hearin about them they were 20. I didn't "bitch" about anything. I said IF they are cheap CD-Rs for 20 bucks then thats a jack. If they are only 6 bucks.....then I guess that's aight but I still wouldn't wanna buy some cheap, easy to scratch CD-Rs.

The thing about JT is now that he's been exposed for ripping folks off and weaving more magic carpets than a Turkish tweeker, he ain't gonna show his face around here no more. Just like in the hood when you rob some cluckers, you gots to find new stomping grounds. JT has scammed everyone from the siccness and now that he's been exposed as a complete cakester he's slithered back into the fillmore gutters.

Check it, that net-flea ain't gonna be nowhere to be found for a thick minute, watch...

I remember I bought a street corner hoe one night for $50.00 and spent another $50.00 on the hotel room for a total of $100.00. My dumb ass fucked her raw and sure enough 3 days later I had blisters all over my stomach and I was pissin hella blood.

I can safely say that was a better investment of my skrilla than me buying this JT book.
