I went to the Yukmouth, Louie Loc, and Gamblaz show last week over at the spy club in San Jose. I'm really fuckin' glad I didn't pay for my own ticket, I would have been heated if I did pay for it.
Clubs are bullshit, you pay to get in, the performances don't start until like midnight. Before the show starts the DJ's are spinnin' the same shit for hours that you hear on the fuckin' radio every day.I'm so sick of That damn Get low Song(if you actually want to call it a song)

When the performances actually start, there's 20 muthafuckaz up on the stage, and four other fools doin' backups "yeah!, Come on!, Yeah!, Uh!, Bay area!, Yeah!, Uhh!". Not only that, it seems like they only do like 3 or 4 songs total(maybe 5 if you're lucky).
I dont know about ya'll but when I go to a show I want to see the ARTIST perform, not a bunch of heads on stage. With that many folks up there you can barely see who's actually rappin'.
the sound quality was kind of weak there that night.

Someone's goin' to have to do a lot of convincing to get me to go to another show. I don't wanna pay $20+ just to hear shit I can listen to on my radio, and then see a skimpy ass performance.

Oh yeah, Yukmouth was the best "Performance" there that night, he had to stop the show to blaze up a blunt before he went any further.

I feel you on the crew and entorage shit on stage ... The sound could be good but there could be one or two nigga's that is screamin into the mic fuckin all the levels and shit up ... I been to and participated in nuff shows where that shit goes down....

THE SHOW IN SAC STS WAS JUST TALKIN BOUT FINDA BE TIGHT, AND ALSO MY BART/91SICCNESS RELEASE PARTY WILL BE ALSO OFF THE HOOK IN GILROY SEPTEMBER 5TH, COME CHECKEM OUT...

Damn, that show in Sac sounds like it would be tight, good lineup but I'm not gonna even be in cali that Week though.

I'm gonna have to roll through to that show you're throwin' TactOut.
I'll also have to check out the Dugout shows as well.
I was just really disappointed with that show i went to, I'll give some more a chance.

I remember I went to this one show quite a while back, and the dude on backups was louder than the Artist, Heas like "YEAH, UH, _____Records, YEAH!" right over the dude's lyrics, couldn't even hear his spits. LOL!

I FEEL YOU ION THE RAPPIN PART THO, IVE THROWN ALOT OF SHOWS AND BEEN TO ALOT, SOME PEOPLE JUST DONT KNOW HOW TO PLEASE THE CROWD, IT AINT QUANITY(PEOPLE ON STAGE) ITS QUALITY.... BUT SOME CATS JUST WANT 15 MAFUCCAZ ON STAGE WIT THEM, CANT HATEM, I ALWAYS HAVE BOUT 4-5 WITH ME, BUT THEY KNOW WHEN TO SAY A ADLIB, AND WHEN TO JUST BE QUIET, AND TO NOT OVER POWER THE RAPPER...

BUT YEAH MAN COME CHECK OUT THAT BART SHOW, IT SHOULD BE REAL BIG!! AND CHEAP!!!

Man, I got to be honest and say that I aint never been to a really good rap show with the exception of Jurassic 5 and Cypress Hill (BReal passed me the blunt!) I dont even hardly go to shows now unless its some good live music like Earth Wind & Fire and shit.

Yeah, you could just as easily spend the money on a new CD and bump it in your ride or at home (I mean, considering how much these shows cost when you get to the door).

Living legends, zion i, heiro, digital underground throw soem dope live shows...

also blackalicious and the cuf....

im not really feeling when people rhyme over there vocals (tech n9ne can get away with it)... no disrespect to people here cuz i know alot of bay acts who do it, but when i pay to see someone rock it live i want to see it live... i got yo cd in my car mayne... i done listened to it..

give the crowd a good show.. they paid to see u.. be professional..

its all i ask,.....

lol @ having 20 hype-men on stage like they're the headliner.

I don't even like going to shows where the artist ain't backed by a live band. Shit ain't even worth it to me.

i have to disagree and say Quinn/DoneDeal took the show...but that's my opinion...

only thing I was feeling about that show was that there was 300 mufuckas and like 15 broads.....stupid weak
